  1. Hello, I tried to ask at WWII armor section, but without success, so perhaps here I can be more lucky... We are looking for any drawings or detailed pictures that would allow us to make a 1/48 scale resin kit. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks Libor
  2. Hi Bo, all colors are mixed from Gunze Sangyo Aqueous range: Foliage Green 50% H302 + 50% H320; Earth Brown 90% H72 + 10% H47; Sky Blue 50% H314 + 50% H67. Hope it helps!
  3. Thanks everyone for comments! For Michael: Ed is right, the missing rear fairing was scratchbuilt from thin slightly curved plastic sheet. The canopy was cut to part and the middle section was made from heated clear foil using the kit part as a plug. Completely scratchbuilt are also the wheel wells with engine installation. Cheers Libor
  4. Hello, this is MPM's new kit and although not their best effort since some details are simplified or omitted, still pretty good. Marking from the kit - 8.CU from New Guinea dated late 1943. Cheers Libor
  5. Yes, I used them several times and they proved very well. DP Casper are custom printed at Aviprint, so the quality is first class. I know the owner and it is a fair chap, however the issue might be the langauge barrier. Cheers Libor
  6. Hello, looking for any detailed information on this vehicle, especially a drawing (or dimensions) and detailed photos. Many thanks Libor
  7. Hello, Tamiya kit built OOB except Superscale decals and Squadron canopy. Cheers Libor
  8. For the time being a few shots what has been already done:
  9. Paul, you have to wait a month or two, we should see them first at Eday in Prague in September.
  10. Yes, these were added by myself. Cheers Libor
  11. Hi Will, the canopy's cast from clear resin, since the side bulges may be an issue for a regular technology. The kit also includes some alternative parts (spinner+blades, tropical filters, extended wing tips) that may be useful for other conversions too.
  12. Thanks! I would add the main difference to the standard Mk.II/V was the "wet" wing with integral fuel tanks in the the D shaped leading edge compartment.
  13. Pretty easy, its more or less the same as their Mk.VC.
  14. Yes, one of the modellers Murphy's law... Fortunately I learnt about this kit just in time - I was about to start the conversion. Right, the front part (windshield+sliding hood) is cast from clear resin.
  15. Hi there, this is the test shot build of the upcoming kit, the markings are home made using paint masks. Cheers Libor
  16. I used Falcon canopy and Quickboost tailplanes plus other aftermarkets from Resin Art, Quickboost etc. The rockets are modified kit parts, the screen was custom made, but now is also commercially available at Hauler.cz Thanks for all comment!
  17. Hello, this is CMR's early Mk.Ia and Academy Mk.Ib built for the Valiant Wings "The Hawker Typhoon" book that was just released. Cheers Libor
  18. Great job Adrian! Anyway, perhaps I'm wrong, but always thought Spitfire had only one position of extended landing flaps close to 90° and nothing in between, but if you have that confirmed, please take my comment as needless. Cheers Libor
  19. Good work there and nice presentation! Cheers Libor
  20. Hello, after some time another addition to my eastern front collection, the Rumanian AF machine from a recon unit operating in 1942 at Stalingrad. Cheers Libor
  21. Just to clarify the matter about AZ Vildebeest/Vincent, this kit is cancelled. Btw, AZ recently acquired some of the Pavla tools including never released Devastator, so they should issue them under their own label soon (some tools adjustments are of course not excluded). The A-Model and Avis affair is more complicated and definitely it can not be sum up as "took over", it was something what would be basically a case for layers in a standard behaviour (but not the case in Ukraine).
  22. The cockpit layout features similar mistakes like Xtrakit one, hope they will redesign it. Can't wait to see price, 50 quids?
  23. Hi Learstang, I did not post a WIP since it was done for a mag review. From my point of view not a difficult build, very little filling, wings assembly OK with some adjustments (making new pins in the struts) - but no assembly jig was needed!
