Hi folks, with my growing collection of IAF I thought it would be nice having some of their opponents in the display case too, so I opted for this Eduard kit (this is my second kit, so I knew what to expect). It comes with the Royal Class boxing, basically with all goodies you may need. I only replaced the stencils data for the GHW ones which are just fabulous. The markings is one of the machines flown during the Yom Kippur war and later allegedly wore some kill marks on the nose (including one for an Iranian F-4). However, I did not find that in my references so I omitted it for the time being. Now on to the Mirage:-) Cheers Libor

Hello Hobo, yes, it might be the effect of postshading technique using various mixes of the base colour. Usually I work with Iwata HP-BH. The fuel stains here were done in combination of post-shadding and paint chipping, if I recall correctly. Enjoy the book! May post the He 111 at a later date. Cheers Libor

Sure thing:-), using riveting wheel from "Rosie the Riveter" range. That was done by free hand into a primer layer of Mr.Surfacer (i.e not into bare plastic) and then sanded down and polished. Cheers Libor

Hi folks, here is recent addition to my IAF collection. The AMk kit is very good kit just out of the box, so I added only home made seat belts and HGW fabric "RBF's". The machine represents one of the 'The Arawa Guardians' squadron C.7 as seen in 1990. Cheers Libor

Hurricane II - Hasegawa Spitfire V - Tamiya Spitfire IX and XVI - Eduard Try to avoid AZ kits as these are not worth bothering. Some virtual modellers will bring up million negligible reasons which are in fact not substantial for the final kit's representation, but if you want to enjoy the hobby and avoid addressing millimetre here or halve there, just go for these.
