  1. Astonishing number of aircrew lost. That's almost as many as Bomber Command lost on Ops over Occupied Europe during the same period. It puts their bravery in to sharper focus. So in a Lancaster/ Sterling or Halifax you had a 15% chance of escaping a stricken aircraft. You had a less than 50% chance of completing a standard 'Tour' of 30 Ops and before you faced these sobering odds of survival you had to make it alive through ITW then OTU. What a debt we own these young men. Thank you for doing this build. It is a great tribute to their bravery and stoicism. A lovely build as well as a testament to 'The Greatest Generation' Regards, Andy
  2. Thanks so much ,somewhat belatedly, Brian for this confirming picture.. I just went back to this post after a couple or more years! after someone kindly liked it. Regards, Andy

  11. Some rather excellent builds.. I don't know much about Tanks but some of yours look quite real by the weathering you did. For me i find it difficult to paint tanks in OD and not look like there have a thick layer of 'OD' coloured snow! so I salute you Sir! Great stuff. My fav build was your H-34 Helicopter ! Where I live there is a park which had a WW1 female tank on a plinth. It was removed for scrap in 1940 but recently a fibreglass\wood\metal full size replica has been placed on the plinth.. there's a URL to some pics of said tank for those who may be interested? https://www.keymilitary.com/article/new-presentation-tank-waltham-cross Regards, Andy
