Butterfingers

By all accounts not the best aircraft but I have always liked the look of it & this is a beautiful made kit which captures it.

As soon as I saw the thread title I thought VC10. And that is a lovely looking model.

Brilliant Model. The VC10 was my favourite plane in my childhood spotting days & this does it justice.

Brilliant work, scratch built as well, must have taken some doing.

What a lovely model. I really struggle to paint small details like the pilots so appreciate what work must have gone into them to make them look so good.

Hi All. Well here is another lock down kit builder. I used to love making kits but it lapsed many years ago. I mentioned this to my partner & imagine my surprise & delight when a Tamiya Sea Harrier kit arrived & did I enjoy making it, though having seen a finished model in the aviation section I realise my very limited skills. I have since found this forum & many Youtube video's for tips ( if only the web was available years ago) I now have her permission to buy a revell Lancaster, as a fond memory of my youth, so will be using my remaining furlough time building this.
