Not much done again this week cab roof and main body glued on,rear mudguards painted and fitted,I made a attempt at a flat tyre may have another go at that, interior fitted today I have painted all remaining parts except door handles i have also cut one side of bonnet so it can be displayed open and folded back it would be nice if I could get this finished this week sorry for picture quality
  18. I think your a aviation man I may be wrong so hopefully you’ve found a norton commando and are building a cafe racer i dont think anyone’s building a bike in the gb and it was my preferred option but I couldn’t find one
  19. Hi @rob Lyttle not much progress I’m afraid bit of filler in seam is all I’ve done since last update as soon as that’s done should be fairly quick yes still looking for something for grill don’t seem to find any time at the moment and I’ve 3 on the bench(that’s a tea tray on my lap) i need your mechanic to pop round and give us a hand
  20. As I’ve dropped to page 6of the build threads it must be time for an update so here it is the rust on green panels was using hairspray technique 1st time attempt not very happy with the green paint I mixed but it will do and the mudguards just salt technique Quick mock up Still a lot to do but it’s coming along
  21. Just a little update not much time lately all parts mounted to one half of body then the two halves brought together need to sort out that seam now so I’ll get the putty out and give it a go not had to do any filling on previous models this might be better interesting
