Hi Neil, The camo itself took me two sessions. One day for surface preparation and basic layer of Gunze RLM76. Next day i did the green pattern in a single continuous one hour airbrush stroke - with omly a few breaks to reload the paint. I had quite a pain in my right hand after that... Thanks for looking and for kind words Rgds S.

Hi Andy, yes the camo pattern is all airbrushed - freehand. Only marking - white 25 and balkenkreutzen - are aibrushed using masks. Thanks for looking Rgds S.

Hi, yes you're right. The lower tubes vere removed and also the central one. The lower ones i've never seen on a photo of these rece birds. The central one was sometimes installed for the canon. This particular bitd has this central one removed. The cover was patched by dark color on the nose. Thanks for a kind words... Rgds S.

Hi, just finished a few days ago this Hobby Boss 1/48 Me262A1/U3 Recce Schwalbe. The kit is excellent almost like the Tamiya one. I used just a few PE bits from Eduard in cockpit (seat belts) and wheel wells. Aires resin wheels were used as the kit ones are unusable. All the markings except hackenkreutz are airbrushed using my own custom masks. Some progress pics can be seen here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=234924608 Thanks for looking. Any comments are welcomed. Alexandr

Hi, I am back with my Schwalbe after a pause caused by waiting for airbrush masks. As there is no decal sheet for the marking I have chosen as I had to design my own masks. I had a masks for white 25 and all balkenkreutzen. The rest are normal decals from the box... Now some wash and dirt (very light...) and she's done... Thanks for watching :-) S.

HI, Thanks guys. Here is my progress so far... Fuselage is closed. Also aft cockpit deck from Aires set is grafted on. I also did some small work on wheel wells using Eduard PE. And here I just try how she will look with wings They are just dry fitted, no glue yet... So that's it. Cockpit is next ... Rgds Alexandr

Hi, yes the bays are OOB except a few wires from Eduard's PE set. I'm quite surprised by the overall fit and level of details. Hope they will release twoseater ASAP. Thanks S.

Hi, Just started HobbyBoss Recce Schwalbe. I was currious how it will compare to Tamiya one. Almost no difference I think. Let's see later during the build... First the cockpit is finished using kit decals for instrument and side panels and a few bits from Eduard PE set. More to come S.

Hi, just finished this Tamiya Salamander. Trouble free build but I've managed to almost screw it up... There were some three or four "restarts". It all ends up I have not enough patience to finish it up to the level I've planed but I don't mind...I have already other projects ahead...:-) Eduard PE set used in cockpit, instrument panel is OOB using decal. All colours are Gunze "C". The colour scheme done according discussion and observation found on some French forum. Their arguments and findings sounds convincing so I've tried... Thx S.
