  1. I think a 1/72 death star would be out of my budget 💷 💷 💷......and shelf space! Imagine the box it would come in.....a Bandai box the size of an IKEA warehouse! 😁
  2. A 1/32 scale X-Wing from Bandai would be a thing of beauty.
  3. That's a good shout. I've used some of the Legion game stormtroopers for 1/72 scale. I think they're 1/76 scale but don't look out of place at all. 1/144 is a but trickier.
  4. I think most agree that Bandai Star Wars kits are pretty decent.....but is there anything you wished they produced??? Mine are: 1/72 or 1/48 Shuttle Tydirium 1/72 U-Wing from Rogue One 1/48 Y-Wing 1/48 Folding TIE Fighter from The Mandalorian 1/48 Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter from RoS
  5. Hey All Apologies if this shouldn't be here but I'm losing the plot slightly. I do not have a 3D printer, nor know much about the process but I am looking for a 1/25th Scale (75mm tall) Affleck style BVS Batman figure (ideally in a sitting position but not essential as I can sort with some jiggery-pokery). I have the batmobile and batwing from the BVS film that both do not come with any figures. I've searched for after-market model figures, hoping for a resin version and the nearest I can find is on Shapeways that have a seller who can do a standing figure, but now with the import tax situation as it is I'm not keen on ordering one or two and paying 3 or 4 times the price to import. Can someone recommend a UK based company that might be able to help with a Shapeways kind of service? I don't have any printer files for this.....like I said I know little to nothing about 3D printing. I'm surprised there aren't more options for this scale model figures there seeing as Batman is quite popular. Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks everyone
  6. Welcome! There's some great stuff on here, always helpful. Fletch, from Neighbouring Northamptonshire 😁
  7. Hi mate Yeah I know its quite big, and I've seen a few builds on here and it does look great. Just thought it was quite pricey when there's not much to it. Thanks
  8. Hi All Has anyone built the Moebius Batwing? Is it worth the price tag? It's currently anywhere between £110 to £130. I think the RRP is £129. I have the Batmobile which cost me £33 and while the Batwing is a bigger kit I can't see where it warrants such a higher price. I'd understand if it was £60 or £70 maybe. I suppose a kit is worth what you're willing to pay for it, and while I'd love it in the stash I'm probably going to wait until find it on sale somewhere. 😁✌🏼
  9. Welcome! A fellow Northamptonshire resident here 😎. I've recently got in to doing aircraft, I've always leant towards movie related kits so aircraft is relatively new to me. Enjoy! ✌🏼
  10. *best Darth Vader voice* "Impressive!" Great work 👏
  11. I'm halfway through mine.....not been back to it for a while, this may have reignited the hunger to get it finished! Great work 👏
  12. Hi mate Flory Models have recently posted an in-depth video review on YouTube. Worth a watch if you're still interested to see the kit before buying it.
  13. Thank you so much for your help and advice. I've heard Shapeways mentioned before but never really knew what it was. I'll defo check it out - and thanks again for the brilliant advice!
  14. Hi Everyone I recently bought a Revell F14D in 1/100th scale to be built in flight mode but as with so many other kits out there it doesn't come with pilot figures, which is a bit weird considering the kit has to be built in flight mode, but also weird as 1/100th scale isn't a typical go to scale for aircraft (normally). I've tried searching the net but coming up trumps unless I get some seated people figures and modify/repaint to look like a pilot. Is there any advice on where I might get actual pilots in this scale? I can find 1/72 & 1/144 but not 1/100. Has anyone built this kit and were able to find pilots, interested to hear how you got around it. Cheers all 😁👍🏼
  15. Built and primed an F/A 18f in 1/72 last night.....masked the intakes before assembling, as you do, but just got it out to check it and I've masked the intakes wrong inside so instead of the white inside slopping backwards they slope forwards 🙈 (I blame the beer!) Can't see it from side view, however you can from an angle......to the trained eye (as most of you lot have!) it will look silly. I don't suppose anyone knows if they've ever been painted like this so I don't need to do some giggery pokery to put it right?.....although I think I already know the answer! 😆
  16. Thanks for that. Yes, I'd already decided to use bathroom sealant.....I've got both clear and white, clear for most of the base area with the white intended for the columns of spray as depicted in the art above. In my mind I thought to maybe construct a frame from old sprues in the shape of the spray/blast, then hang it 90 degrees, coat the frame building it up around the sprue pieces thus allowing gravity to give the effect of it spraying when it's turned back. Then attach to the base and use clear again with paints to make it look seamless. In my mind it seems it should work.....although I'm torn between this and doing it realisticly which is a flat wake 🤷‍♂️ And I'm working in 1/48 so its going to be big
  17. So thank you for the help, I've now learned the right way to embed an image! My original question stands - is this water spray realistic? To be fair I really like it so will probably try and recreate anyway. It's the same pic as above but minus the waterskier 😂 . I'm just struggling to find any real photos showing something similar.
  18. Thanks for the help I was trying to enter the URL I found in the OneDrive App
