Interesting and very enlightening information. I appreciate you taking the time to explain things to this degree. The kit that comes to mind that I've seen on eBay is the Airfix FW190A/F (kit 16001) in 1/24; an expensive kit in this day and time. It is showing the full eagle on the right hand side in the box art and it also appears on the picture of the included decal sheet for the port side of the aircraft, thus putting the full decal on both sides of the fuselage. This looks to be the "yellow 21" aircraft. I'll check out the kits that you mention. Again, thanks for the explanations.

I'm curious as to why on some of the FW 190s in Wurmheller's group have the eagle head showing on the cowling and others don't. I've also noticed decal packets that have one of each; one with the eagle head and one with just the body. Hoping this isn't a silly question but I don't readily see an explanation for it. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has any opinions on the AMG plastic airplane models. I've seen some up for auction on eBay (some kits I haven't seen from anyone else) but I've never built an AMG kit.
