Next time you need ballast (nose weight) try lead shot, but first use a plier to sqeeze them a little bit. You'll get two more benefits: they will no longer roll all over your workbench and some extra grip for gluing.

That's a post war Italian Police colour. -
That's a OOB project. I have used a brazilian brand of acrylics as base color plus, two highlights and two shadows. There is just one brown filter and one wash. Both enamel. The matt varnish is acrilic, also a brazilian brand.
