  2. Thanks for the kind words. Glad you like my Victoria The ship is an order and has been sold. After I finish it, it will sail to its new owner
  3. Thanks! In fact, only the hull and the lower part of the masts are made of plastic Basically, at this scale, especially if the ship has colors like this one, once it's painted it's no longer clear which is wood and which is plastic. Heller have made a really very good model, which with some refinements becomes really effective.
  4. I'm almost at the finish line. The sails are rigged. s and boats fitted. Steering chain and so on. There are more minor additions to the deck and I'm starting a showcase.
  5. I uploaded all the photos via inbox.com. However, if they disappear again, I won't deal with it anymore
  6. I'm very sorry, but in the beginning - two years ago, when I started showing the process of making the ship, my Facebook links stayed in the forum for quite a long time. They only started disappearing when the photos reached 200+... I tried hosting through a photo site, but it didn't work - the photos didn't get posted here at all. So I apologized several times and continued to post links from Facebook. Currently, the photos stay up for about a week, then disappear. I do not know why. Your forum doesn't have a direct host option and personally, that makes it quite difficult for me. I would ask you if you know of any tested hosting site, please share it here - I will try to upload all the pictures of the build. If I can't handle it, I stop bothering you. Greetings!
  7. I ordered more blocks in a smaller size for the top sails. While waiting for them I was busy with anchors, buoys, boats, barrels, etc. small things. The fore-mast is almost ready, but there is still work to be done on the rigging.
  8. I tried before through a host site - it didn't work... The photos have already become too many to upload again - I just don't have that time. I will continue to upload via Facebook, but I will put a link to the other forum, if they disappear. Greetings! I'm glad that you like the sails
  9. The bowsprit rigging is almost ready. Only setting left. I struggled a lot with the blinds to make them quite folded. I don't particularly like them, but I can't do better. They stay that way. Seal is installed and mounted on 70%.
  10. I have a problem: I don't like the way the blind looks The options are: - stretched blind - but it will cover the bow of the ship - semi-folded blind - difficult to implement, as the canvas is made of paper - fully closed blind - I do not like the result, - both bowsprits are without sails. The question is: If the the other sails are stretched, is it possible that the bowsprit sails are not there?
  11. The installation of the sails has begun!
  12. I started the sails. First cut - to see how they stand on the ship. I had a problem with the bowsprit - distorted because of the bars. I had to strengthen the lower support. Now is good.
  13. Yes, I will put sails. I'm still thinking about what to use as fabric for the sails. I will show when I start
  14. I have been struggling with the lids of the gun ports for almost two weeks now! Infinitely touchy and tedious work, especially tying them. Half are already installed:
  15. Work on the fixed rigging continues. I'm progressing slowly because I don't have much time ...
  16. For example - on the main mast - they are 12 knots on a single row. 56 rows x 12 knots = 672 knots on the main mast )) So all knots are: 3158 The time to made 1 row with 12 knots is around 10 min. So we have: 312 rows in all masts х 10min = 3120 мин = 52 hours clean time ))) that's why I was so late with this post
  17. About 4000 knots ... Slow and tedious work ... I'm uploading the photos again on Facebook, for which I apologize. I will upload them via another platform soon - when I have time for this... there are lot of pictures...
  18. Hello everyone, I'm sorry about the disappearance of the photos - it turned out quite unpleasant. I use Facebook to show them here. I will try to find time to upload all the photos again. If you can recommend me any photo site you use, I would be grateful. I will show you soon how far I have come - I was on vacation for a while.
  19. Work on the main mars - in particular - the system of ropes that protect the big thread from rubbing with the lower edge of the main sail. I still can't remember what it's called ...
