I've got one of these and it looks like a good kit. I'll enjoy watching you build yours, Stefan.

Just near St Davids mate.
That's a coincidence - that's my favourite part of the coast. I walked from New Quay down to Porthclais earlier this year; I've also done a bit of fishing between there and St Justinians.

Hey Mal, welcome to BM. Whereabouts in Pembrokeshire are you? It's one of my favourite parts of Wales.

Some interesting comments about GB lead times. Do people think we need to work on a six-monthly cycle with two Bunfights in a year?
God no!!

Well if we're being sensible then I should probably build an Eduard 1/48 Bf-110E for this first

I had a bit of a word with myself last night; I'm coming towards the end of two of the three builds I currently have on my bench and was planning on starting two more as soon as they're finished. One of the new ones was going to be an Me262, but common sense has prevailed and I decided that rather than start two more non-GB builds, wait a few weeks and then start one for this GB, I''ll just postpone starting the Me262 until January, when it can be my (first?) entry to the Twins GB. That way I can get the decks cleared (at least to a halfway sensible level) and be ready and enthusiastic for the GB with a kit I'm looking forward to building.
Should I somehow finish my two current builds and then get some serious progress done with the next non-GB build, a Meteor F8, I can always build a quick Hurricane or two before starting the Me262 on January 6th. And seeing as how we have until the 16th of May, I might actually get the Me262 done and have a chance at getting an Allied aircraft in as well. The question is, which one?....
Cheers,
JRK

Maybe so. But this is the whole point of a debate.
Absolutely; no dissent intended, Enzo - just chucking ideas around.

Isn't this getting a bit complicated? Why not just have a "proposal window" that opens after the Bunfight and closes when the next Bunfight vote opens? If a build that you've proposed at any point during the window hits thirty signatures, you're in, if you haven't, then you're out and there's no bye.

I thought we agreed that there were to be no byes at all. It seems simplest that way.

Top jobs done by @Enzo the Magnificent and @trickyrich in keeping us all in line and entertained throughout the process, and also everyone who was daft enough to propose and volunteer to host a GB.
Now, is it a good time to suggest the Civilian Tuk Tuk GB for '25?

It's a shame this one didn't make it over the line; a Sundowners Phantom would have been my choice, I reckon.

Done!
I overdid the chipping effect, but other than that I'm reasonably happy.
Thanks to everyone who has commented, joined in or offered advice and help along the way.
