  1. Here's a few more screen grabs from the launch video for those at work unable to watch YT Andrew
  2. Yes I am disappointed too, knowing how hard my marketing team work at social media etc embargoes when we launch a new product. Sometimes the shops have to load up their storefront data days in advance but no excuses on pressing the 'go live' buitton early.
  3. Screen grab from Airfix video
  4. If I was Air Chief Marshal Airfix I'd be not best pleased trade have released details before embargo dead-line time. These things are made pretty clear to the trade in my experience. Feel a bit for Airfixs marketing department.
  5. Chris Goss' KG40 book has the second image in OP as 'Oblt Wilhelm Schmitter of Stab.I/KG40 arrives at Soesterberg in his pale grey Do217 E-4 so camouflaged for Piraten Einsatze'. Another photo is of the tail and calls the Dornier out as F8+BC Andrew PS. Herr Schmitter ended his flying career in an Me410 not too far from where I'm writing.
  6. Just spotted that Wingleader have announced two new Hawker Hurricane photo archive 'special edition' books out at the weekend. It's like Hawker Hurricane Christmas. Andrew
  7. Finally over the line 'K' of 258 Sqdn, one of those countless anonymous aircraft of all nations which didn't 'belong' to any pilot, none of them did, it just served. The HB kit isn't bad, fit was great but I did not like the sunken rivets one bit. Missing bits I added were some of the cockpit structure, handles on either side of the hood, the stays and actuating arms of the radiator and the small scoop on the rear RHS engine cowling that HB Hurricane kits seems to miss! Bits improved were deepening the radiator to a MKII version, the landing and nav lights, added a oil splash ring on the front, changed the rear view mirror to a scratch built one.. Decals from spares box, Xtradecal and Almark!! Painted with Tamiya mixes, Xtracolour enamels, Mr Surfacer 1500 black for the prop and that perfect sheen! Filth (and exhausts) is various W&N earthy pastels and some coloured acrylic varnish for the oil stains. All matted down with W&N Galeria Matt Varnish. Thanks for looking, great GB!!! - Andrew
  8. Holden of the Skies!! P-51 (CA-18) Mustang 'Jersey Jerk' just came bombing over work for a low pass over RAF Wyton.
  9. There's also a Gladiator photo Reginald Coote took in same sequence I spotted the other day. Also dated 4/42.
  10. I noticed those oast houses. I had a look down Chickenden Lane to see if they were still there but couldn't see them, as a local Nicholas are they still there? Would make a very good diorama with a bit of distance reducing. Thanks _Andrew
  11. I could never get into Glenns stuff despite it being what I should like based on the other bands I listen to.
  12. There's only one band for All Hallows Eve
