  3. Thanks so much skii!!!! I found them on the site and after that i started searching around and find other great option from my online retailer... there are nice sets from eduard as well and from hasegawa and other japanese brands! the eduard one though is easier for me cause I can buy them directly from germany... Ill buy them and see how cool they are for doing such nice works!!!!! Cheers and again stunning model, hope to see more WIP's soon, veeeery soon!
  4. Hey Skii...that's absolutely blooooooody marvellous!!!!!! your work is top notch, outstanding!!!! I have a question though....What did you use for the grids around in the cockpit??? Are they homemade or there's a set around of random grids? I'm desperately looking for those too... Cheers and fantastic work again!

  8. Hey Craig S!!! thanks for the compliments...the way i do chipping is very simple...I took a bottle of MM metalizer aluminum which is supposed to be made specifically for airbrush but actually found that is perfect for paint chipping...perfect consistency!!!!! just forget to say that i use a 000 brush and/or a 0 brush...depends on the splotches I want... Cheers Giacomo Thanks dude!!!! Yeahh that's my question too LOL!!! thought they were metallic...maybe on later Mk's... anyway,I'll keep that in mind Cheers and thanks again
  9. Thanks nick much appreciated!!! Ciaoo Giacomo Thank you sooo much!!! I'm happy you like it! Cheers Hey Chris, thanks for the compliments and I'm happy to remember you your very first build!!!! Cheers Thanks Mish!!! Ciaooo Giacomo Thank you so much Stephen! try out one of those,it is really marvellous and the limited box with ICM figures I bought was really outstanding!! Ciaoo Giacomo Thanks Mike, really glad you like it!!! That was my intention,a really worn look...actually Giacomo is my name but if you prefer,Jack,James are good as well LOL!!!! Ciaoo Didnt know this thing!i thought that the "best" error made was paint chipping on bakelite!!!LOL anyway, thanks for compliments and for the great advice...will keep that in mind for sure!!! are not metal also on the Mk. IX??? Ciaooo
  10. Hi guys, so here as promised my spitfire, completed one month ago!!!I know some of you already saw around and that's here for the english guy...lets say a tribute to start well on "my new residence" here LOL! just asked in "chat" forum where to post it and well,i'll put it here cause dunno where else to put it,sorry if I bother!!!! It is made OOB except for exhausts and seat from ultracast!the only visible error is the paint chipping on the seat, which was bakelite and so...well forget it!!! it has been a pleasure to build it and was a total experiment for new and old weatherin techniques,i tried a new postshading technique and some heavy paintchipping!wheels are boulged with a solder...I really like the effect even if I need to improve lot more on that!!! heavy use of pastels,a new for me!!! tell me what you guys think of it and hope to come soon or late with a nice base for it which I'm planning LOL!!!! Ciaooo Giacomo Ciaooo... not able to show much for my next build, sorry guys...am really busy!!! I will try to put some other work late this month or in July!! in the meantime I'll wathc at your superb works!!! Ciaooo Giacomo
