  1. Just tried the link which will come in very handy, thanks very much
  2. Wow! Not sure what I can say that hasn't been said already. Certainly one to be proud of so thanks for sharing
  3. Great looking Cat. I must agree with some of the other comments made already in that I have NEVER seen such a clean looking F-14, I didn't know they actually existed after studying numerous pictures over the years! I was lucky enough to see one in the air at one of the Mildenhall Air Fetes in the early 90's, it was luv a first sight 😍 Thanks for posting
  4. Stunning result, who doesn't luv a Cat?? I have one waiting to be built as part of my VF-111 quad ( F8, F4, F14 and F5) A question if I may, was the base built by your good self or bought?? Thanks in advance As an aside, if you are a user of YouTube try Ward Carroll. He's an ex F-14 rio and has a series of excellent stories from both his own experiences and from others in the former Cat community. Worth 30mins of your time if you have any to spare as he has loads to tell!!
  5. Excellent result with some very impressive painting. I've just started figure painting myself and if I ever manage to get even close to these I'll be more than happy. Thanks for sharing
  6. Very impressive final result. Can you believe that Alien was released all the way back in 1979????? I showed it for the first time to my teenage son recently, nice to know it can still scare the hell out of people all these years later! I'm sure I read an article stating that Weaver wanted to do this scene minus the very skimpy clothing that she actually wore but the director was against it as too distracting, can't imagine why?!?
  7. Thanks for the review Mike and cheers for the grief it will cause!!! I now know that I really want one, however, where on earth will I keep it without SWMBO finding it?? It's not a small box that I can add to a carefully re-arranged stash to make it look as though it's been there ages which apparently some people do, not me of course!?! Looking forward to this one
  8. Was thinking how good this looked until I saw the coin????? How on earth to you manage to get such a good result in such a tiny scale?? Huge respect
  9. Very nice indeed, loving the drone. Was that included? If this is not one of your best then I'm very much looking forward to your next build. Can't believe that a ship looking as she does has been and gone from service already!?!
  10. Amazing result for such a small scale. Rather jealous as there is no way my eyes would allow me to model in this scale!! Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing your next build
  11. Wow, that is seriously impressive! I can't believe that is in 1/72nd!!!!!! I'd be more than happy to manage this in 1/35th
  12. Amazing looking build, certainly one to be proud of! Now, what's that 'helps reduce the stash' bit?? Is that allowed or even possible??
  13. Great looking model. I especially like reading the back story, always adds something extra to a finished kit
  14. This looks amazing, takes me back to the Mildenhall Air Fetes, very fond memories indeed! I'm awaiting the new SR-71 from Hannants as and when it arrives. REALLY hoping that it's worth the wait!!!!
  15. Stunning Cat and a very impressive line up. I have to admit I gave up on my Hasegawa Cat after one too many 'issues' although probably my fault If you ever want an easier Tomcat, complete with Iranian markings, treat yourself to the Tamiya kit. Rather pricy but a joy to build.
