Hi Rab,it's Maydero,they are linked with Remember and MG kits in Italy. I've made one or two and I'm very impressed with this kit,no problems going together,has decent detail,resin body and the rest is metal. It's just no fuss,like a Racing 43. The only place you see them is on Etsy,Gemini modelcars. There's a 935 and others too. My kit has aftermarket decals by the way. Chris.

Just one car today,my phone has told me my storage is more or less full and found these pictures from the early part of lockdown. its a resin and metal Porsche 934 from 1978 made from a Maydero kit,its the best kit I reckon of a 934 in the small scale anyway! I call it an art car,it has the Wrangler jeans stitching all over it....thinking of doing in 1/24 now. Hope you like. Chris.

I could do this,I have a 1/43 resin kit of an IMSA GTO Mustang racecar if that's ok.The kit is made in the U.S.A too. Group builds have a long leadtime to start from what I've seen,not done yet myself...I think I have a Bullit Mustang too but after a quick look l can't find it yet.Chris.

I have a soft spot for the Arrows team,they managed a couple of 2nd.places,but never actually won a Grand Prix. Damon Hill was the nearest I believe in 1997,but the car stuttered on the last lap of the Hungarian Grand Prix. ive managed to complete the decals for the body apart from the fiddly bit of black round its nose.Am also starting on the same car but in white,pictures below I hope of all the parts,there are a lot! Yes,Marsh Models are very much still in action. Sign up for their news e mail,I got one last week of their latest 1/32 airplane kit. Their newest car release is the Gilles Villeneuve Can Am Wolf Dallara,and I'm sorely tempted by this one! Before that they have made a raft of Ferrari 330P4 and Ferrari 312P the open cars of 170/71. I agree about their website,it's very out of date but John Simons is still going strong. Chris.

They're all excellent Rab,I agree about the Cobra,that model looks absolutely correct. I have a plastic Monogram 1/43 kit which was very highly rated at the time,Could be an alternative? The Pagani is beautiful,the carbon fibre looks just right. The Aston is quite a lump of solid metal! But very nice too.

I have never done a WIP before so here goes nothing! I seem to have gathered more than one early Arrows F1 car kits,the first one pictured is a second hand built model which was and still is in a sorry state. The body has already been resprayed ,as it was in the recommended colour VW Hellas gold,now impossible to find and I decided its too dark anyway for a 1/43 model. Finally settled on Tamiya Gold aerosol after trying 3 other different shades..I then used Mr Hobby clear and have started to redo the decals with a sheet of Tameo decals for this car purchased from Grand Prix Models. It needs repairing at the rear end and I need to find two tyres. Tameo make this car now ,but I've had this model a few years now,it was made by Aone,I also have a virgin kit of this car which I will make as the very first Arrows car in white,sponsored by Varig,an airline. More pictures to follow tomorrow hopefully,Chris.

I love this model Trevor,Marsh Models are definitely a big step ahead in the detail department.i have a Tenariv kit which is pretty basic in comparison,obviously it's not been built yet. Andy you could always just search for 1/43 kit on eBay - I noticed that both klubman and myself have both listed some kits this week! There are some ridiculous prices asked by some people however. Yes the Ferrari is a BBR,And I would love the 1/24 version as well......Same goes for the Lotus,a definite gap in the market ? They keep saying it might rain at Le Mans tonight. Chris
