Lovely cars. So jealous of you driving the Delta Integrale! One of my all-time favourites.
On my way to Kent today I saw what appeared to be an Edsel on a trailer heading north on the A1 near Water Newton.

Not sure about the plug leads - not my scale of choice.
However, this is my recipe for the dull metallic affect (please bear in mind that I only use enamel paints). First, prime with Humbrol 01 primer. Allow to fully dry (a couple of days, or so). Apply a wash of satin black (Humbrol 85). Allow to dry. Finally, dry brush with Humbrol 56. If you need to add a touch more brightness, then a further dry brush (very light) with Humbrol 11. Hope that helps.

As I said during the WIP, a fabulous model of a wonderfully beautiful car.

That looks far nicer with the thinner HT cables. Nice work thus far.

Great array of cars. And quite a variety, as well.

I know what you mean. I had a good, hard look at my stash a couple of years ago and decided to have a good clear out. All I have now are a few particular themes; Brits at Le Mans, Porsche 917/956/962, Can-Am winners, plus one or two that don't fall in those categories but are still of interest. It's still a lot, though! The rest I sold on EBay, and there are still a few to be sold.

we need a new Provence Moulage type company now.
Couldn't agree more. Fortunately, I still have plenty of PM kits to build.

They're just a bit gorgeous aren't they.
Steve.
There's something about them. Something "other worldly". They looked so far ahead of their time.

Very nice the pair of them.

Looks really good! As you say, it is remarkable how much detail can be incorporated in a 1/43 kit. Not built a single seater yet, so you have my admiration for the complex wings, etc. on F1 cars.

The box is the finishing touch. Brilliant idea!

Nice!! Lovely model of (what is now) a legendary car. A great shame that the real thing didn't achieve more success. It deserved to, just based on the sheer "bonkers-ness" of the idea of putting a Metro on steroids!
