  1. That looks the business! Trevor
  2. I would say that all the complex plastic surgery was worth it. Looking good. Trevor
  3. Looking better all the time. The machine finished material for the firewall sounds like a brilliant idea. Regarding the headlights, I think the 2CV lights would maintain the Citroen character and spirit. Trevor
  4. I like the look of the 2CV radiator cowl. Am I right in thinking that the yellow piece underneath was just to temporarily support it? Assuming that is correct, may I suggest a single, central, tube from the top of the cowl to the centre point of the scuttle, like the "hinge line" of split engine covers? I think that would be in keeping with the general vibe. Trevor
  5. Spotted on my way to the Post Office this morning. A Discovery on steroids! Trevor
  6. Wow, that looks like a big leap forward! IIRC, Timo Makinen preferred 15" wheels, but sometimes opted for 13" rims. On one RAC rally, I can't remember which year, he was still undecided what to use when he was due to leave a service area, and consequently departed with 15" on one side and 13" on the other! Trevor
  7. Nice looking conversion parts. Am I correct in thinking that the "fender bump" was added to reduce the chance of contact between the front right tyre and the inside of the bodywork caused by the greater loads imposed when running on the Daytona banking? Trevor
  8. Some nice plastic surgery being performed. Very tidy results. Trevor
  9. That's taking shape nicely. Looks great with the body in place. Trevor
  10. The landing light on the nose gear was only fitted to RAF aircraft. Trevor
  11. Well, that all fits together nicely! Trevor
  12. On mine, the harnesses are anchored at the seat belt fixings at the base of the rear bulkhead. Either way is fine, though. Trevor
  13. Good to see this one moving forward again. Trevor
  14. Despite the problems you encountered, I think the wheels have turned out really well. Trevor
  15. Good to have you back. This promises to be another of your entertaining builds. Trevor
  16. Thanks very much Steve. Mine is Peugeot China Blue with Rover Platinum Silver on the roof and wheels. Trevor
  17. Maybe this picture of my Zeemax Mini will provide a spot of inspiration. Trevor
  18. As a serial classic Mini owner I shall follow this with interest, although I've never owned a Sportpack. Trevor
  19. That looks really good. Excellent workmanship. Trevor
