  1. Nicely done. Love the small details and the finish. Trevor
  2. Great workmanship so far. The interior now looks really good. Some lovely detail work. Trevor
  3. Spotted yesterday at Cadwell Park. I had a chat with the owner, and he has a 1600 Pinto under the bonnet with a 5 speed 'box, Mk2 Escort struts, etc. and RS Alloys. Trevor
  4. Or, coffee/tea stirrers from Costa? Long, and quite thin. Trevor
  5. Clearly, it fought you all the way, but I think you can claim this as a victory. I think it looks really good and can only endorse what Pete said. Trevor
  6. Great selection of interesting vehicles. I particularly like the Cooper S. Trevor
  7. Spotted today heading south at the top end of the M11 a red Daimler Dart on the back of a flat bed Transit (or similar), and later on, heading north on the M11 (just south of Stansted), a dark blue Wolseley 1800 keeping up with the traffic with apparent ease. Trevor
  8. Coming from Derby this afternoon I saw a white MBB GT on the outskirts of Nottingham and, closer to home on the A17 heading west near Coddington, a very nice Ford Anglia Super in green and cream. Looked like it had been lowered a bit, and it had wider than normal wheels, but was otherwise standard (from the outside, anyway!). Trevor
  9. How about PJ Productions' RAF Pilots Standing Ref 721119. They are cast with separate arms which might suit your purpose. Trevor
  10. Great work so far. Very good idea to wash the parts. You are correct regarding the reason for metal parts. The reason for washing the resin components is the remove any mould release agent that remains. This can cause problems when painting if not removed. Trevor
  11. That is fabulous! Great model of a truly great car. Bravo. Trevor
  12. And a Brabham Viva. That must be a real rarity these days. Trevor
  13. Talking of Volvos, I saw a dark green Amazon Estate in town at lunchtime. Trevor
  14. That looks really great. Superb model, well done. Trevor
  15. Both look lovely, especially your cinquecento. The wider wheels look great. Trevor
  16. Spotted today at Belton Garden Centre. Very tidy! Trevor
  17. Great work, as usual. BTW, how long will the finished model be? Trevor
  18. I think you'll find Marsh kits a lot easier. Nicer castings than MA, plus lots of p/e details. Trevor
