Here are the obligatory sprue shots and a full explainer of what I will be doing. Firstly a very well packaged kit in a sturdy box. Well done to Das Werk for this overlooked area. They know people have boxes sat in stashes for a long time. And just over £30 is a very good price. Good quality reference material from which I got the vehicle I will be doing. The kit itself is nicely detailed without being overly fussy. With decent zimmerit texture. And the extras and some bits from the spares box to make the command variant. Can't wait to get started. Cheers everyone.

Well that's good going. We've got a good few taking part and each kit is different. 👏👍

Great choice Darryl. A very nice amount of extras and a vehicle that has some great paint schemes to choose from. Good luck with the build. 👍👍 -
Another good one and a great reason to get it done for your mate. 👍👍

Fantastic choice Enzo. I love the ridiculousness of the Sturmtiger and the size of it. Good luck with it and if it is as good as the Tamiya 35th you should enjoy it. 👍👍

Liking that. A great camo scheme and the weathering is just right to show it off. Well done Donald. -

Lovely collection there Lee. What is that welded on lump on the side of the first, Tamiya, Tiger? -
Cheers Ian, Francis and Donald. 👍 Clearing the netting didn't look like a fun job to me just a necessary chore. Thanks for the kind words.

I read a suggestion of coating the rubber wheels with thinned PVA to aid in painting. It worked on vinyl gloves so it may work on these. -

Great work that. It doesn't look the easiest sized thing to photograph though. Well done and hopefully we'll see more of your stuff.👍 -
Extra strength Optivisors will be needed for this little 'un. All the best in your build Echen.👍

More great work. Nice one Maddoxx.👍👍 -
Your best creation so far. All round top quality. The base, the gun, the figure and all the other additions work brilliantly. Well done.

Exercise Reforger 1982 - M60A1 in Bavaria
Stef N. replied to Tim R-T-C's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
Excellent work Tim. Impressive detailing and painting.👏 As an aside I'm sure I must have driven past one of these exercises in the mid 80s. Mile after mile of US armour somewhere south in West Germany. It's still partially stuck in my memory after all these years. -
This is the flesh set. Very nice, vibrant and easy to use. I may look for another set just to mix up the flesh tones but this does the job for now.👍

Cheers Paul. I used Lifecolor and 3rd Gen sets. Very good to hand paint with. 👍 Cheers John. I'll be wasting my time mentioning the upcoming Tiger GB then?😜
