Looks faaaantastic, just a bit too big for my personal taste - the Revell 1/48 G is plenty big enough for me

Geez will everyone calm down it is Christmas after all!
Not quite Christmas yet
, but well said Daz.As paying owners of the site, Mike and I don't have any issues with pay sites being mentioned or occasionally pimped on Britmodeller. Geoff is a fine modeller and an affable guy, (in fact a friend of mine worked with Geoff in launching the site) We happily set up traders forums for manufacturers or shops and up until now have asked for no financial assistance in running Britmodeller, we would however request that SMN banners are reduced to a sensible size in line with the signature policy of the forum, and links to SMN left out of the BM reviews section - we don't think that is unreasonable.

Personally I wouldn't preshade a silver aircraft

Without question my favorite 190 ever built

-
Very very nice !!!

Excellent work Richard.
Would be very interested in knowing how you went about making it ?,
You do the same for the 1/32, get some rubber and resin and start casting.
Chris.
Amazing work !
Yeah if you can do a 1/32 scale version I'd be up for an order

Remember the stuff you used to get off wine bottles, and how perfect it was for seat-belts ?
Got on the phone to these chaps yesterday and ordered me a big sheet of the stuff

Fabulous job James, be very proud of that one

-
Gorgeous Lanc, the exhaust stains are particularly well done

-
Thanks guys

Hey Merv
Nice illustrations matey

Actually the ammo feed is more or less sorted as Chris_Babes sent me some spare Eduard photo etch designed for the Imex/Kangnam 1/35 kit, however I'm planning on using the same technique as your drawings for a stick of 30mm which will be shown loaded into the starboard sponson

A bit further on with the cockpit now, I still have the gunner's sights to do, as well as seatbelts, control columns and the circuit-breakers behind the pilots bulkhead but the cockpit is certainly getting there

Very nice indeed, great work.

Fantastic, and a real demonstration of what can be done with an old Matchbox kit, the engine detail is particularly good.
Great work Sir.

mine must have got lost in the post thenThere is a replacement PTFE O ring for the air valve. My customers get this changed FOC at shows or if they order anything from me.
-
Try thinning the oil more and doing lighter washes, I tend to build up the wash in layers rather than one thick wash which always tends to dry un-evenly leaving clumps of pigment.
-
Good to see no sign of a moulded MDC on the canopy, hopefully this will be in the form of a decal

-
Bloody hell, trains are not my thing by any stretch but that is REAL !!!!

I have the Evo 2 in 1, fabulous piece of kit. To be honest I tend to use the .4 needle for most things, .2 only for fine detail work. It really is a solid and comfortable airbrush to use

The only thing to be wary of is the sticky trigger issue where the rubber seal expands and the air trigger sticks down, I lubricate mine with some airbrush oil but I believe H&S supply a replacement seal for this issue.

Mindblowing, simply mindblowing !!!!

Thanks!
I used Citadel Methryl Silver as you suggested on PH, but I'm not sure it's too bright (or at least too contrasty) with the dark camo. At least I only did a few chips!
What effect will the matt coat have on it?
Cheers,
Garth.
Hi Garth, you've kept it very subtle so I don't think the matt coat will make any difference to be honest. Looking great anyway.
John
