Hi David, and welcome to Britmodeller !
Your modelling skills look first class from here -your comment aboutthe eduard masks is interesting as they are usually regarded as easier to use, but good to see you have the whole situation more than uinder control!
Please keep us updated and welcome again

Nice job Darren - yeah she's looking a bit front heavy but nothing drastic.
All in all a very nice little build - be happy with that mate
:thumbsup2: -
Hi Matt
Yep - they are the ones, however I didn't use the Paragon seats, I used the ones that came with the Neomega pit.
You might want to consider the Paragon Tornado burner cans as well, they are much crisper than the kits ones and also include the thrust reverse gearing in between the cans - highly recommended.
Drop Neil a post on his forum here, and he'll be able to help you out

How long have you been using CA? It's just CA has a life span depending on temp light etc. You might find bits falling off.

I say this because I built a 1/350 Tamiya USS New Jersey about four years ago. I had it back before Christmas for cleaning and found a number of joins have come apart. The CA had terned to dust.
Hi Phil - around 3 years now, nothing as shown signs of falling apart (yet!) I use it as much as a filler as a cement. As daft as it sounds, the cheaper the stuff, the better I tend to find it is !
-
Ahhh cheers Mikey, not that I've used it or plan to, useful to know anyway.
-
I stopped using polystyrene cement years ago, and I use Superglue / CA exclusively.
I keep hearing about "accelerator" being used, but I've never seen it, and frankly I don't understand it - why would you want to 'accelerate' superglue - its already instant !!
Am I wierd? (Mike - shush) - please guys, enlighten me

thanks

Excellent review Nige - looks like a serious piece of kit, I'm in awe of how thin those spray lines are !! jeez thats impressive.
I'd probably be scared to put paint in it to be honest LOL

Thankyou guys - nods of approval from the Britmodeller posse all round then - excellent

Geoff - you've saved me some extra work there, I guess I'll leave the front coaming as it is and consider it finished - time to move on to the undercarriage bays.
Thanks again peeps

Looks nice... any chance you could brighten up those pics a bit?

Thankyou peeps
Well here is the next update - the 90% finished cockpit. The joystick will be added last, the seats are loose at the moment and the front coming will have a HUD added ( Geoff / TSRJoe / Falcon - need your help chaps, can't find a pic anywhere of the HUD assembly)
Quite nice this eduard pre-painted stuff - damn fiddley, but nice

-
Ooooh thats a Humdinger Steve
shiny is good, I like shiny

Oh that is superb.
Fantastic work on that cockpit wall and the plexiglass nose, puts it all into perspective when people moan about bad kits.
Proper modelling this
