  1. 4 Now. I think they'll be scrambling the National guard soon... It's a wierd one, some people are calling it a scratch, some are calling it a crack, some have polished it off succesfully, others haven't. Damn Tamigawa and their perfect kits
  2. So... the question is..... Does your F-16 have a hairline crack in the rear of the canopy.....?
  3. More progress - the nosecone went on, and after considerable sanding and rescribing it actually fit the contours of the fuselage - vacform windscreen on and puttied flush with the fuselage. Also a test fit of the landing gear, I assembled the fuselage underside before attaching the main gear legs - thankfully they rotate and click into place, even with the photoetch in the gear bay - the model sits comfortably and sturdily with all 3 legs dry-fitted in position.
  4. mmmmmm neat work Phil - looks VERY pretty
  5. Lovely work Mike, the bang seat is beautifully painted. I like your thinking on the moving tail unit

  16. lol - don't you worry mate - you are well capable of tackling it, its nothing compared to the work you did on your Victor cheers Darren
  17. Beautiful Neil. I've always preferred the version with the perspex nose myself, but that is a stunning job. John
  18. Lovely Job John, I love Granby Tornados . Jens raised the issue of the nose being slightly off on the Italeri kit on another thread a while back, I must admit I've not noticed a problem wit h it myself, I'm aware it is wrong on the Revell 1/72, but I always thought the Italeri 1/48 was pretty much spot on! Anyway, beautiful build - the thrust reverse scorching is particularly well done John
  19. aye - but don't forget the 6ft high human wall at most airshows - I gave up at Farnborough and just pointed at stuff overhead AMAZING F-16 pic, best I've seen too.
  20. ew........... :whistling: Very nicely done Geoff, others will find that very useful. I have noticed after cramming the resin into the nose and sealing everything up, I have a warped fuselage too, the bomb bay is pointing in a different direction to the fuselage - still, with some careful sanding and cutting, I've made it slightly less pronounced.. I wouldn't describe it as a dog of a kit, not at all, but it does require a fair bit of work and dry fitting, and as you rightly say Geoff, no other injection-moulded kit manufacturer has stepped up to the plate with this aircraft. John
