I'm glad that they've not given permission to use their logo because the Sea Vixen looks b****y awful in those colours!!!

Spence

It would look bloody good in the monster energy livery though

Missed the thread earlier, I stock those blades.....
Down as Excel, but they are all the same blade.
Swann Morton do them as well, I'll probably be stocking their version in the future.
Thanks Paul
I'll be looking you up soon anyway - I'll be needing some little lenses

Amazon is your friend.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp...aps%2Ck%3Axacto
EDIT: Actually, I've just had a browse at the link, although they sell the knives, it seems the blade refill packs are all unavailable?

yep, thats what I found too (big Amazon user here)

Hi all
Does anyone know of a supplier of blades for Xacto knives ? I've run out and I'm buggered if I can find anyone who does blades to fit them!

-
Nice job fella, those wings are bloody HUGE

Nice work squire

Amazing work, rust and metalwork to die for !

As mentioned above you can get an on-demand compressor with a 3L air tank for less than £100 now, I'd imagine after procuring a tank, the necessary fittings and valves you wouldn't be far off the cost of a new one.

As nice as 1/72 Spits get, that's a little gem

Very nice indeed Shaun

Hi,
Thanks for all the info guy's. Really helpful.
Not sure which one I am going to go for yet.
I have considered a spray can, but I don't have anywhere to do the spraying.
thanks again
Outside on a calm day should do the trick, rattle cans are fine for a single colour finish.

I would look at Alclad for metalics.
Loads of different shades, several polished finishes, have a look at their web site www.alclad2.com
There is plenty of info on the site about them.
Your local suppliers are Models for sale and little-cars.com
Alclad is completely useless for brushing, it might give the best sprayed finish but it is no good for brushing.
To answer the OP's question in my experience the best silver paint for brushing is Citadel mithril silver.

This is the Hasegawa one I did soon after its release

Can't really see anything to criticize there, thats a jewel of a build.

Thanks chaps - I dismantled the check valve between the motor and the tank - couldn't see anything obvious at fault but on re-assembly it seems to be ok again , if the problem re-occurs I'll get a valve off the Bay
cheers again chaps

bottom

1 year to the day almost (last years birthday present) and its gone faulty
Instead of shutting off at the desired psi, air rushes out of the arrowed valve at an almighty rate until the motor starts up again

Any compressor guru's know what the problem is?
