Fricking amazing, off the charts considering its 1/72 !
-
That paintwork looks lush, great job fella

-
Beautiful

Here is a project I've been experimenting with in the last week or so, this is the impressively sized Revell 1/32 kit, this kit is the early 'A' model, I think you can see where I'm going with this...

Fantastic job Sigmund, loving that base

-
-
Great scheme there fella !
-
It will be well worth it though

-
The panel effect on the hull looks smashing ol chap, bloody ugly boat but a beautiful paintjob

-
Bloody hell

-
Splendid chap, loving those Spandaus

Stunning work Phil!

That is a wonderfull Chally, very impressive.

Yep, far to over emphasised, modeller needs to show more restraint

Thanks for the input peeps, and yes for a fraction of a moment the Babybel thing had occured to me

The sponsons are a challenge, I did a 'D' conversion on an old 1/72 project which isn't 100% accurate but proved to me it was possible..

So, here is the beginnings of the 1/32 project

And here is the size comparison if you want to see what a 1/32 Apache looks like

Smashing work Guy, especially the chipped paint effects , and that dozer blade is sublime.

I was looking forward to seeing how you tackle the head - one teenie thing - the domed helmet should have a slight point at the front, that aside the mock up looks spot on fella

-
nice
I'm liking that
-
Very nice, they look 1/72, not 1/144 !

Reeely? Have you ordered any gubbins from the RealSpace people, or are you going to build it OOB? Will you be using the television headed spacemen?
Nowt from realspace, cargobay will be closed, engine bells modified, not reeeplaced

This is not a Space Shuttle
that's also on the go

Well, I've decided on my next big project, and I have to say I'm looking forward to it.
I'm going to tackle the old Revell 1/32 Apache and update it to a British Army WAH-64D - I know, I'm a glutton for punishment

So, apart from the Flightpath set, is there anything esle out there that I should be aware of for this kit, and assuming I scratchbuild the D model sponsons anyone got any suggestions on how to tackle the Radome ?
cheers
John
