  1. Thanks A flashpod and a counter measure pod seemed right
  2. Thanks Pantherhawk A wee bit different from the norm
  3. A little sneak build. It is a comission build and I had a mate do the decals for me. Unfortunately his printer had issues so the decals got nasty printlines. I fixed them with painting really thinned red paint. I think the repairs went well. Another SNAFU was that I binned all vertical stabs by mistake...so a mate had to 3d print new ones for me They are better than the originals though and have holes for master pitot tube The model was painted in MRP paints and I used Navy Blue, Ukrainan Dark Blue, Ukrainian Blue and Ukrainian Light Blue. I made really soft gradients and I think it turned out well. Only s9me slight weathering with washes and pigments as I wanted the model to look quite fresh. Now the pics. I have a new backdrop and I have to shoot in the kitchen nowadays since my hobby room was turned into a bedroom for my eldest. Still have to find the right settings for the camera but I have 2 more viggens to build so I didn't indulge as much in the photo shoot. Cheers!
  4. Ah yes... we shall see how it goes. Old fashion way of making a master by hand unless someone would like to CAD it
  5. The same...they are an eye-sore 😕 use CA glue to fill, it's easier to reacribe
  6. Hi all! I am on the hunt for "Akktu Stakki" decals for Viggen from Syhart in 1/48 scale. If anyone have them and feel they could part with them for a fee, please contact me either in PM or on my mail: [email protected] Thank you
  7. Thanks alfisti Thank you so much Oh, not to beat my own drum but I will have the build published in Phoenix Aviation Modeling sometime this year
  8. The Gigant Viggen did well at the last weekend model show It got me a Special Honorary Mention, or a Silver if you want :D Otherwise I dominated the ScifiFigure class with winning the class with my Mando and Grogu figures, Special Honorary Mention with a Warhammer 40k Warglaive and a Honorary Mention for a Warhammer 40k Palladin...so gold, silver and bronze
  9. Thanks Mike Oh I am..feels always better when you get a bit of distances to the build and you start forgetting the snafus Thanks russ The photohoot was a bit challenging. I had dismantled my little studio in my hobbyroom (my eldest is taking over the room so I have to make my hobbyroom mobile) The 9del is so big and I had to think about a easily dismantleable studio for our kitchen. I used the stove and a old curtain for a backdrop. Thank the splinter is cool isn't it Thanks Roberto The kit IS massive! If you look at the main wheels in certain angles you see that the last wheel in the bogies has collapsed a bit
  10. Thanks Sam lol in the market for a Viggen are you?
