  1. It's interesting that you mention 2 in one and 2 in one because years ago, (post dinosaur), companies like Monogram produced such kits. Their 1/48 P-38 let you build a J, an L, an M and a photo reconn model I can't recall the designation of. Those kits made for some interesting model. A return to that practice would, I firmly believe, be most welcome.
  2. A lovely model of a beautiful airplane. You'd have a hard time beating a Mirage for good looks.
  3. Beautifully done. The very subtle weathering looks good.
  4. Because Kittyhawk never produced the T-28A, I have a feeling this kit will sell reasonable well. I've often wondered why Kittyhawk overlooked the T-28A.
  5. The interior detail is extraordinary. I looked and shook my head in utter awe.
  6. Very nicely done. The C-124 is one of my favorite airplanes.
  7. I'm nothing close to being a rivet counter and your model looks wonderful to me.
  8. For all the difficulties, it's a beautiful model.
  9. I've always thought the Badger is a handsome airplane. Your model does it justice.
  10. Beautiful work. I love an accurate clean build.
  11. Forgive my ignorance, but is this kit a rebox of the Hasegawa kit? I didn't know Revell marketed a 1/72 F-111C.
  12. I've been an airplane nut (aka airplane enthusiast) for many years now and if there's one thing I've learned it's that if a manufacturer wants to produce a new model kit badly enough, they'll take the gamble and produce the kit. I've seen kits produced of airplanes I've never even heard of and not seen kits that, to my way of thinking, should be produced (1/72 C-124, 1/48 F-86H). At times, there seems to ryhme or reason regarding what a manufacturer produces while at other times, what is produced appears to be very calculated. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's wise not to write off the potential for a new kit of whatever airplane you like. I just might happen. We modelers have been greatly surprised in the past, so why not now and in the future.
  13. A very respectable piece of work. I've never built a resin kit so I can't help but admire the work of those who have.
  14. Very nice clean build of a very interesting airplane.
  15. I missed the AIM-9 too. Interesting they didn't mount them on the inboard pylons, as is typical. Anyway, a very well done Phantom; place of honor in your collection.
