  1. Truly, and I do mean truly, beautiful build. Extraordinary no matter which angle you look at it. As I recall, the Revell Eurofighter isn't an easy build so your success is all the more remarkable. Photography is quite good too!
  2. A beautiful build. How did you achieve the chrome look on the engine air inlets?
  3. That is one pristine model. Given the commemorative nature of the markings, it's highly appropriate that it be in semi-gloss finish. Out of curiosity, are those travel pods on the inboard underwing stations and, if so, may I ask where you got them?
  4. Great looking display, very interesting story and I like the photos a lot. Found it interesting that you could get the propeller blur through photo editing. Enhances the photos quite a bit!
  5. That's why some of us prefer pets to people. Though I prefer really nice people to pets ... O.K. maybe just a little bit. 😄
  6. For a first model since boyhood it certainly looks excellent to me. I see nothing to be critical of.
  7. A fantastic build. Am I correct the small spots on the upper rear fuselage and on the bottom of the airplane represent oil or perhaps hydraulic fluid spots? Never seen that done before and if I'm correct it's quite convincing. I like it! The cockpit is incredibly well done. You do very impressive work. The SU-15 seems huge to me, for a fighter.
  8. The experts on WWI fighter planes may see the mistakes but your model looks extraordinary to me. Good to hear it was a fun build. That's what modeling is supposed to be. FUN!
  9. Great build! Gun and engine exhaust done very well. Grime on the belly and wings also well done.
  10. Outstanding results from an unfriendly kit. A very attractive collection you have there too.
  11. Very pleased to hear the kit is so nice and the decals equally so. Your build is magnificent. Isn't it great to have a model kit that goes out of its way to be cooperative!
  12. Very nice build with subtle leaks and just right engine exhaust stains. Nice too that you built it in Test Pilot School markings rather than the more common training squadron insignia.
  13. Gotta love classic kits! The simplicity! The fun!
  14. You do some truly beautiful modeling work. The cockpits for the F-100D and F-4G really caught my eye. I was stationed at Spangdahlem AB when it had only F-4Es and F-4Gs, was there when the F-16s came in and the F-4Es left and only briefly saw the A-10s and the former Bitburg F-15C/D Eagles. Your F-4G model in particular brought back some pleasant memories.
  15. That's a great looking Phantom. Just the fact you used so many stencils impresses me ... a lot! Enhances the look quite a bit. Keep up the great work. You have a lot to be proud of there.
  16. Bad fitting parts can make for a very challenging build but you overcame and got really nice results. Good for you!
  17. Your model is truly awesome; an outstanding build. Of course, the cockpit caught my eye (as I nearly always look for photos of those) and I had to smile when I noticed even the lettering on the tires was reproduced. Were the tires painted or are those stencils or decals? If hand painted I surely wish I could do that. Hands aren't as steady as they used to be.
  18. Very nice build and I like the display. I appreciate hearing it's an easy build and the kit is well engineered.
  19. Truly beautiful work on both kits and all the more noteworthy given they don't make assembling and finishing them easy. You can be quite proud of what you've produced here, sir.
  20. Now that's a kit I can get excited about! With my focus on trying to whittle down my kit stash, which really isn't that big to begin with, buying a new kit hasn't been anything close to a priority. But this gem has the potential to change my mind! 🤩
  21. I'll chime in regarding wanting the civilian model. A very attractive airplane!
  22. Curiosity prompts me to wonder if this will sell well given that Academy released one in the same scale recently and it's gotten excellent reviews. Perhaps the B-1 is popular enough the market will handle both of these kits well?
  23. The more I see of the Meteor Night Fighter models, the more the airplane appeals to me. For all the issues the kit presented, your model came out in excellent form. Really like the paint work.
  24. I believe you Lancaster build is even better than museum quality. Extraordinarily well done. Incidentally, I believe this is the first time I've seen bomb racks accurately reflected (not sure that's the right word) in a model. I can imagine the painting wasn't easy.
  25. Very nicely done. Gives you something very distinctive for your collection.
