  1. I can agree they have a lot of personality. I'm inclined to favor what some might call the "short nose" models: A, B, C D, N, J, K, M and S. To me they look more balanced, for lack of a better description. My personal preferences aside, the 4th Wing F-4 photos are excellent.
  2. Excellent build. The external tanks in different camouflage adds character, for lack of a better word, to the overall finish. Dutch markings look really good on a fighter.
  3. Gorgeous cockpit; instrument panel really caught my eye. The paint work is wonderful; excellent weathering in just the right amount.
  4. Great build! Has an authentic looking "war worn" look. The cockpit is very nice.
  5. The number 7 airplane is usually not flown in the slot position and is more normally used to give VIP rides and is transportation for the narrator as I recall. The #4 airplane, a single-seater, usually flies in the slot position. #7 in the photo looks unwashed, especially on the top of the wings. Jet demonstration aircraft are usually kept in near mint condition, especially when they're on the road doing performances. Please keep in mind it's been some years since I've seen an airshow performance of either the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels and "maybe" the standards have changed, but the appearance of the planes in your picture caught me by surprise.
  6. Maybe it's just me, but in that first Blue Angels picture, the planes look dirty, especially #7, the two-seater. It really stands out. I thought they had more pride in themselves and the Navy than to let an airplane go on display looking like that. Don't take my comment as a reflection on your photography. Your work is most excellent.
  7. All of the complements given are truly well deserved. You do truly outstanding work.
  8. You undertook a difficult challenge and turned it into something very special. Very nicely done model.
  9. Looks real good. I always think of "Puff" in a camouflage scheme so this is interesting.
  10. I had to laugh, but my faith will not fail in the future. 😃
  11. Another build stunning beyond belief! I behaved Moa. I saw the toilet inside the plane and refrained from straining to see a roll of toilet paper. Knowing your building skills and attention to detail it wouldn't have surprised me in the least to see one hanging there. Heartfelt admiration for truly astounding work.
  12. Scratch built! 1/72 scale! Biplane with rigging! Wonderful paint! Excellent diorama and the figures are superb! One again I'm amazed and in awe!
  13. Would that have been shortly after Napoleon put on his second stripe? The temptation was too great and I couldn't resist. I looked for a "slap my hand" emoji but couldn't find one.
  14. I don't find the design of the real airplane inspiring but I surely do like your model!
  15. What a crying shame that is! In other words, if it's NOBLE, it's of no relevance in the modern world.
  16. Great gloss coat and very nice work on the decals. Glad they worked well for you.
  17. That's looking very good. The attention to little details, the very nice paint work and the not-the-usual markings identifies this as something special.
  18. C-119 was one of my guesses and the Lockheed Constellation in civilian and military configurations was another. I apologize if the way I worded my text confused you.
  19. A Beaver would be nice. An Otter even better!
  20. Name of the base and/or the museum, please? I tried doing an internet search and came up with nothing.
  21. I most certainly agree. It appears to me the Halifax is little remembered and that's a shame.
  22. I know little to nothing about aircraft from WWI but I do know your model looks splendid! Very nice work!
