Thank you. Stuka and hurricane from airfix seemed a nice fit,1/24 scale harrier I’m almost done on was pretty bad even to my inexperienced hands.
If I don’t put them on the ceiling they will end up broken or in the bin! Interested to know what happens to all your finished builds?Well I think I will go for the trumpeter. It appears to come from China so won’t be here until well into the new year.
Cheers John
Hello all
I’m considering a hasagawa 1/24 scale Focke Wulf or even the Airfix as my first purchase in 3 years. I previously built the airfix 1/24 Stuka and hurricane. I think most builds here are in the smaller scales, this makes the attention to detail and skill displayed on the builds I’ve seen even more impressive!. I notice the hasagawa doesn’t seem to include a pilot? Perhaps this is verboten for the purists but I like the idea as my models end up on my the ceiling of my office/radio room and it’s always been unusual to see a pilotless plane!.Is a pilot available economically post purchase please?
Im also thinking of taking the plunge with my 1st airbrush purchase. I’m always quieter after Christmas so should have time to experiment. I see there’s a forum on airbrushes so I won’t ask any questions here.
regards John
Hello all.
Amazing the level of skill, patience and dedication shown on so many builds here! I’m a infrequent model maker but enjoy the ones I do. I also have ham radio as a hobby and two youngish children so time at a bit of a premium. Thanks for allowing me aboard. Very tempted to try airbrushing on my next build which may be a 1/24 scale Focke Wulf 190 from airfix or hasegawa?
