  1. I have this kit in my stash I just need the motivation to make a start on it! I remember making it as a youngster OOB and painting it in the colours as by the instructions. I like the weathering you’ve applied, just the right amount in my eyes. A nice build all round. Cheers Mark.
  2. I was taxied around the Falklands in many of these. Not the most comfortable but able to go just about anywhere. The extras you’ve fitted really help bring it to life. A nice build which has brought back some great memories! Cheers Mark.
  3. A really nice build in my favourite scale. Lots of very nice touches that help set it apart. I too should really make a start with some of these early kits though I doubt I could replicate some of your skills here. Cheers Mark.
  4. Brilliant job mate, really well executed. You’ve managed to get just the right kind of finish I like with the weathering. Really well done. Cheers Mark
  5. Looks amazing to me and in unusual colour scheme/decals. Quite subtle weathering too, which I much prefer. Well done on this kit, it’s one to be proud of. Cheers Mark
  6. I’m about to build one of these little carriers having purchased one from Fleabay. However there are no instructions so it looks like time to scour the internet for what I can find. I have to say you’ve made a great job of yours, it looks amazing. cheers mark
  7. A great build of an unusual aircraft, those colours are applied beautifully. Not sure I’m up to rigging just yet but you’ve made great job of it on here. Cheers Mark.
  8. A fantastic job at 1/72 scale it could easily be much bigger! Excellent weathering and use of paint, I wish I could come even close to it. Again great build. Cheers Mark.
  9. @Tbolt That is an impressive Thunderbolt you’ve built. In your opinion which would be the best kit to buy in 1/72? I’m looking to build a 5 sqn aircraft in SEAC colours during their time in India/Burma. Any help or notes appreciated. Cheers Mark.
  10. Great work on the Triumph, something I’d like to do but I really don’t have the room once it’s built! Maybe I could sneak it in somewhere? Cheers Mark
  11. A great looking build here, the weathering is making it all stand out beautifully. Looks like a lot of detailing went on in the cockpit. Once again a great build you should be proud of. Cheers Mark
  12. A great looking kit with just the right amount of weathering without going over the top (in my eyes anyway!). Nice to see the older kits reappearing on here. Cheers Mark.
  13. These two look great and are something I’ve considered for my own stash. Working in this scale I’d at least have room for them. The paint and weathering are just right and really bring them to life. All in all a great job. Cheers Mark
  14. Great build of this lovely looking aircraft. The paint work and livery look superb and must have taken forever. Even at 1/72 I wouldn’t have the room for it! Again great build. Cheers Mark.
  15. Those figures look fantastic, amazing painting skills you have. I too have a limited but unknown time left to finish my stash but keep buying more! These figures would look amazing whatever diorama or vignette they were placed on. Once again amazing painting. Cheers Mark
  16. A nicely built kit, especially given the size of it! It just goes to show what can be achieved even at this scale! The vignette shows it off really well and is just how you’d expect the officer to be stood. Again a great build and finish. Cheers Mark.
  17. A great looking build painted and weathered at just the level I like. I sometimes think there is too much weathering? The stowage looks perfect and has given me a few pointers for my Matilda. All in all a great job you’ve done. Cheers Mark
  18. The cockpit details all look good to me! Now you have the paint on they look amazing. I’m sure this will turn out to be a great build. Cheers Bill
  19. Very, very nice. A top quality build that looks amazing! Definitely a build to be very proud of. Subtle weathering and great paint. Cheers Mark
  20. It sounds like a bit of a trial building this one! Still you’ve made a brilliant job of it and should be proud of your obvious efforts to make something so good from it all. Cheers Mark
  21. Great diorama, it looks amazing. I’m never disappointed with the skill that people put into these things which always show my limited skill set! Well done again on such a great build. Cheers Mark
  22. A great build, you’ve captured the scene really well. Great painting and weathering, a diorama to be really proud of and certainly beyond my meagre skills. well done. Mark
  23. Welcome! I too am a fairly new member lurking at the edges……There are loads of tips and personal experiences to learn from on here, so the only way is up! I myself still tend to use a hairy stick rather than an airbrush but have to admit the finish is much better using an airbrush. Enjoy your time on here Cheers Mark
  24. Nice build, lots of detail on there given the scale. Well done on this one, it’s a credit to you.
  25. That was some amount of saw work! I’m afraid I would have taken the easier route of the after market kit but all credit to you. Following with interest and spare plasters when the saw slips……
