  1. I have a couple of different Kates from both Hasegawa and Airfix. I want to do at least one of them in this green / brown scheme. I have been watching this build and it looks great.
  2. Incredible job on that one Cherny. I never would have thought that was the old Airfix kit. I think I could have done it like that but it would take me probably 20 years to just sand and scribe the kit. I keep pulling out the Airfix Hampden kit and toying with it but it always manages to go back into the box. Just can't figure out where to start on that one.
  3. Very nice on each and everyone. When you pick a kit you go for the top of the line kit on every project. I'm envious of your collection . Very nice. Todder
  4. I wish everyone would quit posting these Arma Hurricane kits on RFI for mainly 3 reasons. 1. I really want one of these kits. 2. I don't own one of these kits. 3. They are just not a common item here in my neck of the woods. I was perfectly happy with my new tooled Hurricanes from Airfix but after seeing these Arma ones I can't bring myself to start the Airfix ones until I get a chance to massage the Arma kits. Having said all of that, I think your model looks great. I also like how your fuselage roundels look less weathered than the other fuselage markings. Just like the example in the first photo.
  5. That looks very nice. Yellow paint has been troublesome on a couple of my kits. Love your choice of markings.
  6. That looks really nice Joe. I have seen a Mac kit in a couple of different hobby shops but I don't think I have ever seen one built before. How well does it go together?
  7. Very nice! I know a modeler who tackled this kit and said that he sanded it so much that he sanded it all the way back to a Mig-23 by the time he felt it was ready for paint.
  8. I think only have one Hobby Boss Easy Kit in my stash. They don't look like much in the box but they do tidy up with a little extra added details. Your MS-406 is just such a fine example of how they can turn out looking like so much more than what's in the box. I'm not too familiar with this particular kit and was wondering if the markings are after-market. Nice job indeed!
  9. Like most everyone else has said, the faded colors are terrific and details from top to bottom are well done. I have this kit in my stash for just over a year and I really want to screw up the courage to try this kit but can/t decide on what markings to do it in. Guess I will just have to buy two or three more.
  10. This is one of the few Dragon armor kits that I own. Probably is also one of my favorite variants of the Sherman. Mine is in the to be built stash which probably consists of about 300 plus kits. When I get around to mine I hope it turns out as well as yours. Very nice.
  11. Nice one Russ. This plane makes me think that someone accidentally dropped a Fairey Fulmar fuselage on to a Spitfire wing.Low and behold, the dang thing flew off somewhere and morphed into this.
  12. Airliner kits seem to be getting so much better than what we had when I was growing up. Both of yours look great. You have a good eye for color matching too. I may have to try my hand at one of the Zvezda airliner models.
  13. That turned out really nice. I have a couple of these and one is simply in need of paint to finish it off but it has to be close to 20 years old. I assembled it with wheels up so that I could display it on a stand. Seeing yours now, I should probably get mine out and throw some paint at it.
  14. That is simply awesome! Looks like you could just climb inside it and fly it around.
  15. That turned out really nice. I like the very subtle panel line wash. It is so easy to over do the accent. My twisted side says to do one of these and paint it white with a yellow circle on the top and convert it to and egg-plane. Oh yeah! The horizontal tail plane could be a piece of bacon. …… Now I'm starting to get hungry.
  16. Looks great! This is probably my favorite British jet thanks to a photo shoot from an old issue of Koku Fan (Feb '91). It was like discovering an aircraft that you never knew existed until you see it in a picture.
  17. Fantastic! I would see that at the local hobby shops in the 80's but it just didn't interest me back then. Now of course I wish I had one of those in my stash.
  18. Yeah looks like the same boxing that I bought here in the states when it first came out. The problem with mine is the pebbly surface of the plastic and a fuselage that looks as if it's gonna need a belt sander and a sledge hammer to get the halves to line up. I admire anyone who tackles this kit. I have not attempted mine yet because OSHA requires too much paper work and safety equipment to operate the tools that I will need to assemble this kit. A tip of the hard hat and a heavy safety glove salute to Airfix for giving us this kit. I do love the 1/72nd scale rendition of the Buc that Airfix released in 2019 however.
  19. I bought this kit in March 2019 while I was in Las Vegas (my old stomping grounds for 22 years) I don't think I want to do mine as a silver bird either but I will certainly follow this build. Your interior looks awesome too by the way.
  20. That looks great. Nice restoration job. I have got 2 of the Hasegawa F-14's in my stash from probably 15 years ago. I really need to get started on at least one of them. Todd
  21. Entire build is fantastic but that wood grain really rolled my socks down.
  22. That looks great! The finish is awesome which was probably no easy task. I have always wanted to do a Lockheed Electra in the same scale.
  23. Something has gone amiss, (might be my computer) but all I an see is little gray boxes that reads "spacer png". Then again I live in Utah things move differently here. Todd
  24. I think it looks great. Nice job on that one.
  25. You describe errors or incorrect features of the kit but it looks fantastic built up as you have done here. Great job on both aircraft that you have posted on this thread.
