  1. A modelling 6-pack! What could be better? Very nice job on that one. Todders
  2. Well done ! That is an awesome completion. It would probably cause me to have several fits if I attempted such a build. Hats off to you. Todders
  3. I always enjoy looking at your builds. Well done as usual. 👍🏽
  4. That is really cool but, I can't help but think it would be funny if you built a really HUGE pair of clown shoes for the cargo area... The real Skyvan looks like a shoe box with wings. 😉 👍🏽 (My apologies if I have offended any clowns)
  5. You didn't have to explain the paint on the nose of the DAK to me. I realized by looking at the rest of the paint on the plane that the intention was intended to look as though it was hastily applied on the real aircraft. Nice job! Now if you told us that you were up in the wee hours of the morning painting the nose so you could take it to a show in a few hours...... That would be a little different story. 😉
  6. Nice job on both aircraft. Someday I am going to get an Eduard P-51 as a treat to myself but I've got a few hundred kits ahead of it to build first. I might add that the Airfix kit looks fine to my eye in every shape and dimension when displayed next to theEduard kit.
  7. Very nice! Like the photo of the cockpit especially.
  8. I had this kit when I was a kid. The box art was the hook for me. Forty-plus years later, I think I could use another one. The rivets on the wing would probably make for a nice back scratcher, or maybe an exfoliator for the hair on my back 😂. By the way, I chose the beer for this one and it shows. Nice job on the old beast.
  9. Very nice job on the Buffalo! It is your model and you should feel free to weather it however you wish. I don't believe any of the comments about the weathering are meant to be spiteful toward your modelling techniques, only helpful. I really like pre-war U.S. Naval aircraft and I have a couple of these Tamiya kits but haven't brought myself to try one yet. Thanks for sharing yours with us. 👍🏽
  10. Very nice! I am mostly an aircraft modeler but for some reason I have an affinity for the Hetzer. Especially this particular paint scheme you have chosen. I have a 1/48 Tamiya that needs painting and a Dragon 1/35 that needs building. Your figures and photography are great too. Welcome to the site! Todders
  11. Very nice! I am gonna have to get one of these kits someday. Hats off to Airfix for choosing to do this aircraft. It probably isn't as popular with most modelers outside of the UK but still it is unique enough to add to a collection of builds. BTW your weathering is great,. It can be difficult to paint a black aircraft and not have it turn out looking like a monochromatic toy. 👍🏾
  12. I almost purchased this kit yesterday at the local hobby shop. Now I am wishing that I went ahead and bought it. Very nice job on this build! I really need to do something In a larger scale and this kit looks like it would fit the bill nicely. For whatever reason, you don't see too many early D model Mustangs get built. Thanks for sharing your model. Todders
  13. C -5A Pilot - "Something just went through the number 3 engine. What was that?" C-5A Co-pilot - " It was a Piper Cub." 😝
  14. Welcome back into the fold. That little Spitfire looks great. I have been doing this hobby for most of my life and I still have issues trying to get everything to fall into line on every project. There have been too many nice kits to count that have been released since 1981 so you should have plenty of choices no matter what your interests are.
  15. I have had this kit for about 2 years now and want to do it up in Coastal Command colors. but I just haven't gotten around to starting it yet. I am going to have to move it to the top of the stash pile. Yours looks great too by the way.
  16. Very nice! Certainly is something you won't see in everybody's display cabinet. Everything seems to come together on this to the point that it doesn't even look like a conversion. My first thought was that it looked like it was an out of the box build of a kit that I wasn't familiar with.
  17. That is fantastic! I have never even seen a photo of this type of airplane. I love the landing gear. The photo from directly in front of the aircraft looks as if someone just bolted the lower struts from another type of aircraft on to the upper struts of the Arado. Thanks for sharing this .
  18. Very nice job on that kit. I have often wanted to see a Pegasus kit built up and yours did not disappoint . Was there any kind of interior provided in the kit at all?
  19. Both are incredible. I am beginning to develop an urge to do a Marlet. Previously I always thought any Wildcat had to be in U.S. markings but the Marlets are starting to appeal to me.
  20. I used to live a couple of miles south of Nellis and I miss all of the aircraft coming in and out of the base. I also miss the noise (believe it or not). I have been seeing a lot of these Tamiya F-16's lately and I might have to purchase one for myself and have a go at it. Yours looks awesome too by the way.
  21. In the end, it still looks like a Jaguar so that's a winner in my book. Sometimes the biggest reward in putting together a rough kit is just being able to finish the job. It may not be your favorite kit once it is finished but people who know what that kit is like can appreciate your end result.
  22. It's nice to see that the old mould Buccaneer still gets some justice. That looks cool in that color scheme with the gear up. I have two of the old Bucs as well as the new one in 72nd scale. What color did you use for that scheme?
  23. Very Nice. I have got to dig out my kit of this one and build it .
  24. Wow! I have been doing some sort of modelling since I was a kid and 40 plus years later I would be showing off my figures if they were painted as well as yours. I can't offer any advice as to photographing your models as I have yet to try to post any photos on line. Don't hesitate to post more of your work on this site. You will always find that practice makes..... well not perfect but probably better. See my profile picture to the left? I think it took me 6 tries to get the face painted like that. (wondering where I can get a life sized poster made of that ) Todder
  25. I f I were wearing socks at the moment they would be officially completely rolled down. Amazing job on an aircraft that looks like it was designed to provide plenty of shade while sitting on the deck of an aircraft carrier. Seeing this makes me want to get one now.
