  1. A couple showing the area around the cockpit. Note how rough the strips are on the panel which opens to clear the winch when the main panel is opened. Note also the black rotorhead.
  2. Interesting shot of an 845 cab in Norway in 1976. Presume the red X on the door was because they were acting as 'Red Force' Tight fit!
  3. Back to colour variations. In this photo The lead Wessex appears to have no yellow blade 2 Wessex appear to have 2 yellow blades The SAR one and the furthest away one has 1 yellow blade.
  4. Reference my earlier question about a green Wessex with 'Rescue' on it. My brain wasn't wrong after all! Now was it only on the door or on both sides?
  5. This link gives plenty 772 NAS pics https://abpic.co.uk/pictures/military-unit/772 Squadron
  6. Hello and welcome to the forum Traxy. Showing how my mind works I like the way your photographs with no gaps between them appear to show a world under the sea!
  7. Now why would I waste such a good dram there's a good idea Looks like I'll be meeting up with @Massimo for the warm up session first. I think 'The Gang' should all have a spring break in Glasgow around March 10. I don't think the @Martian Hale migration season is until a wee bit later.
  8. Superb work there Alan. Looking at your undercarriage,it is so good that I think that it will work like the real one. Using that as the flimsiest of excuses to watch this video again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUBVXaNEnkM Note how the whole thing moves back as she settles..Fly's attempt would just break!
  9. Not sure how to respond to that. It was posted as a joke ..end of story. My version of a long relationship is that I am too mean to give away half of my pension.
  10. Secret to a long Marriage A couple were celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. Their domestic tranquility had long been the talk of the town. A local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the secret of their long and happy marriage. "Well, it dates back to our honeymoon," explained the man. "We visited the Grand Canyon and took a trip down to the bottom on the canyon by pack mule. We hadn't gone too far when my wife's mule stumbled. My wife quietly said, 'That's once.' We proceeded a little further and the mule stumbled again. Once more my wife quietly said, 'That's twice.' Hadn't gone a half- mile when the mule stumbled the third time. My wife quietly removed a revolver from her pocket and shot the mule dead. I started to yell at her for her treatment of the mule when she looked at me and quietly said 'That's once."
  11. A Christmas which was stress free! Dinner with my eldest son..good food, good chat and no cooking or washing up! Crowned off by a video chat with my family in Slovakia and the funny moment when my granddaughter turned to her mother (off camera) and said " It's Grandpa..the one who flew off to Scotland"
  12. Here's a good top view: and underneath
  13. Scroll down past the Royal Navy ones and there's a few RAF in here: http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=2152
  14. Some excellent photos posted in here. http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=2152
  15. An interesting shot of HMS Kent's Wessex HAS3. Note '401' repeated on the fuel tank.
  16. I had come to the conclusion that I would have to mix but I really detest this 20% of this and 10% of that and add 5% of another just to make sure malarky! One thing I have re-confirmed is that it is nigh impossible to decide on a colour from a photo. I'll be building 002 as it is one of the three I have seen and in some photos it is very obviously two tone grey and in others it is two tone blue. I have had no luck finding a Japanese standard paint chart which easily translates and the same with interior photos. I had planned to open the door but now perhaps not. Thanks for everybody's input.
  17. Progressing well Daniel. Pictures of them with the pods are few and far between and I haven't found any of 001,002 or 003 with them. (I'll be doing one of those three) Those with the pods also have the RWR wedges on the tail bullet fairing.. Is it my imagination or is the fairing longer than that in the kit?
  18. Hello and welcome to the forum Dmitriy.
  19. Thanks for those replies. @cardiff guy,I'm doing the lighter coloured one as I've only seen 52-3001,002 and 003.(I only build aircraft which I have seen) I queried Sword's choice of light blue for the top but the more I look the more I see blue rather than grey. @757flyer Now I know what the Sword colour codes mean although by using their recommended Mr.Color paints I would have these colours http://www.mr-hobby.com/en/color.php?cKey=362 http://www.mr-hobby.com/en/color.php?cKey=264 More research required then as they don't look right.
  20. Anyone know what the FS or equivalent is for the two tone grey ones? Sword only give the Mr. Color call outs and unless I am reading Sword's instructions wrong I've to use C-323 Pale blue and C-56 IJN grey which doesn't look correct.
  21. Some were. If you click on the link in post 129 on page 6 it lists the ex-RAF serials.
  22. Well that's me finally caught up Bill. Looking fine. Some interesting details in be seen in this short film. (Ignore the spiel and watch with sound off!)
  23. Some footage of an ex-RAF HC2 in service with the Uruguay Navy.
