    Aggiornamento n.3

    Saluti... Dave.

Good morning. I wanted to build a Spitfire MkII with the UD*A insignia because the place where I live in Italy is called Udine and its acronym is UD…Did it exist? Or at least is there documentation? the alternative would be the UD*W with Hu29-30-23 coloring (artistic sub-license). Is the Eduard box in 1/48 a "false friend"?

Il mio l'ho preso in preordine a 84,99€ a luglio, è arrivato stamattina. Adesso in Italia costa 99€.

    Ciao.

    Davide

Good evening. I took it directly from the Italeri shop and paid 99 euros including shipping costs. I also got the Eduard tires with the weight effect and the other ones for about 12 euros. Greetings. Massimo from Udine.

You've done good job with this kit. And it's very refreshing to something else, than "mainstream" (without calling those names....🤣

Hope, somebody will do a "modern version" of all those Italian A/C. They DO deserve it!

    Zig

Sorry there was a pro quo here, but the post is by Jovac ... As I remember in Italy there are articles that say that the Supermodel is the only one that must undergo changes (eg longer / shorter fuselage) ... on the other hand I too have 3 to do and one to rework with the harlequin coloring (you can see the brushstrokes).

    cheers

I have a Tamiya one, Vietnam style, and one aussie with Saladin turret. After a so long time(built in late '80s) some repair have to be made and the intention to transform the vietnamese-style one in an italian one...

    Hi friends

Sometimes i get feels for old school modeling, without Friuls, without PE parts, such projects which running quickly over the work bench, as we say in german,, a between through,, projects, you can switch off your mind totally, and build up just for fun.

This M 113 was one of those. The build goes quickly coz just small amount of parts and straight of the box

As my old Italeri Leopard, i want just have fun and joy to build this 40 years old kit fast and comes early to my passion the paint and weathering job.

    Hope you like it

Matchbox made the twin-engine G91Y.  This one used by the Portuguese is instead a single-engine G-91 R.  The general lines are therefore different as well ... And thank you Matchbox for doing it ... Greetings
