  1. excellent work. Perfect colors of my favourite plane ! just a tip : don't use your pilot, it was not the suit that french pilots had on these times :
  2. Hi all. here is my last work . The famous " Marge " P38-J from Richard Bong. I choose to build an operational plane, instead of the real plane of the museum. i had this kit in my stash with the peddinghaus decals , before Tamiya released his P-38J; so i've decided to buy the Tamiya for another purpose... I've been using some decals from Tamiya, Peddinghaus and the generic set of Eduard stencils for P-38. Each of decals were excellent quality. A big Ed to improve the kit, full riveting. A lot of work to get a good fit and here is the result. i'm pretty happy of her : and just for fun : the fork tail devil...
  3. yes, in gold series like they did with the F-16. Thks Dave.
  4. nice project. she's in my stash for the future. i try to build only one Mirage per year....but it's hard to resist to begin another one....๐Ÿ˜…
  5. wouahhhh such a beauty ! love her ! very very nice job !
  6. hi Michael. it is the special kit Mirage IIIS/RS from kinetic . Mirage IIIS. colors used are MR HOBBY H317 for the dark grey, H308 for the light grey and a mix of both for the radar.
  7. Hi Model cobber. thank you. this is a challenging kit; many points to improve. Regards. Olivier.
  8. hi all. here is my last work. A late swiss version of the Mirage III. The kit is like usual for this serie but i had some extra work to do : the nose is too short ( 7 mm less ) so i had to fix that. The exhaust nozzle is really poor compared to the Reskit one... the main landing gear is too short for the Reskit wheels, another fix to do. The interior is not bas but has to be improved. The ejection seat is false, has to be modified too. Some extra fuel tank from PJ production and missile from Reskit. now the pics. first the real one : l and my model : hope you like her.
  9. thank you georges. it was the first time i'm going so far in weathering. it's difficult to decide when you have to stop or no. i could go further but really this build was painful and i had to stop. concerning the exhaust; i don't know but pictures around 1955 are not so different , so it was surely intensive use of the machines that gave his.
  10. you're right noelh, the Hasgawa kit is really better than this one. the weathering was the fun part of this build so i let go my imagination !
  11. hello guys. here is my last ( painful ) work job. So many pieces to re built and replace. This kit is a mess...never buy it. It was a poisonous gift from my "best " friend... anyway i did it !. My reference pic : My model :
