Hello all, I've been building the aoshima knight rider season 3 kit. The front led scanner is not available anymore. To bad. Gladly i found something simulair. Anyhow, I've finsihed the inside with all the detail and everything. Now i started with the body. Brushed it with vallejo model air black. Let it dry for a day and than i'ne coated it with vallejo gloss. First layer light...second layer light, than a thicker coat. But the orange peel is massive. Can't get the glossy look on the model. Any tips or tricks for a good clear glass looking gloss coat? Here a sample of the front led scanner i'm using.

I've finished my Aoshima airwolf. Masking was hell for a newbie modelbuilder. I'm satisfied with the result. Best copter ever! Hopefully you like it

Hi all, I'm Predletter from the Netherlands. 40 years old. After snooping for couple of weeks i decided to join the forum. Great tips and also great craftsmanship from other members. (Sometimes jawdropping!) I recently started to pick up my hobby from my childhood. My aim is to collect and make models from movies and tv rom my childhood. I'm currently working on Aoshima - airwolf. If i want to post the project, is this for the helicopter forum or maybe scifi? Anyhow, when Airwolf is done, i'm starting on the Knight rider season three kit from Aoshima. Great stuff! Also thanks to all members for tips and tricks regarding modelmaking. Learned a lot already just reading this forum.
