Been asked by a freind if I can model one of his old tanks and my knowedge in this subject is poor. Can I use the takom Cheiftain mk 5 and take it back to a mk2. Visual external wise. Or the Tamiya offering? Or are they a total no go?

Hi, Also worth remembering that the port Horizontal surface is squared of on dove 8's where as the Stb on is round as in the kit.
