  1. There are some on the Flightpath etch sets... Will need painting though. Not sure if David sells them separately??
  2. Awesome references thank you! Quick q. Can you confirm the blade colours? Airfix calls out a dark green for the main blades and the tail rotor. Is this correct?
  3. Well she's just landed on my doorstep from Airfix. (they used UK Mail not RM) I must say she looks SUPERB!!! HUGE A3 colour callout sheet (what colour is marine green exactly?) Sprues tightly packed in a smallish box. She is heading straight to the table to be built!!....
  4. i think some threadage has been merged. Perhaps the title should be edited to just read Airfix Lynx available.....
  5. Hi Darius, I've been a stealth admirer of your work for sometime. These gyros are a superb addition to your collection. Like me, I think you have a certain penchant for the 1930's golden age. Keep em coming! What's next? Chris
  6. Dave PM inbound.... I have a sealed Fujimi if you want it....
  7. No probs. if its the incident I am thinking, it must have been very traumatic for you all. RIP You've inspired me to get the A2Zee set as I have the decals as well. Looking forward to seeing the build. RE the lightning crash my father remembers it well. The pilot ended up in the tomato greenhouses at the end of sandpit lane... Have you been to the "airfield" recently? Hardly recognisable. Good on the police for restoring the admin block however.... Chris
  8. Some pics here http://forums.airshows.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=30655 http://www.warbirdregistry.org/jetregistry...ixen-xj476.html A man after my own heart! Nearly all my family worked at DH/HS/BAe... One grandfather a foreman over in the engine sheds, the other an engineer on comets and tridents. My father a DH apprentice, mum was in the admin block, and my grandmother was Geoffery DeHavillands House Keeper. Sadly I missed it all except primered 146's banking over the back garden! Oh before I forget don't forget the camera pods under the wing tips Chris
  9. Lovely work Mark. The harrier is my personal fave! You just need to start building in the proper scale now!!
  10. I thought the items on the right looked like he airbrake actuators..... Still no idea on the left hand items.... In a way hoping hey resemble the canopy gas struts. Still to figure a way of keeping it open securely......
  11. Hi all, In the process of building a 1/48 Jag with the neomega pit. With it come some struts with no mention as to what they are for? Can anyone shed any light? Canopy struts? Air brake/undercarriage doors? Regards Chris

  20. Good luck with the project I did exactly the same at the start of the year. Hasegawa D kit with the heritage conversion, MA decals and Aires cockpit: I used Vallejo model air. I think it was Olive Black that i used but i'll have to check when i get home tonight. They do a superb range of greens/olives that fit perfectly with greeny helos. For references THE reference site for UK Apaches is HERE Any q's on the build just shout Chris

I'll be building mine in 5 AEF (cambridge colours) if i can figure out printing my own crests etc. Incidently, you might consider switching the colour of your nav light.... Chris
