Just think of them as those old "choose your own adventure " novels and mix and match between the series , the first movies , and the rebuilds, they kinda make more sense that way ...or at least connect to Anno /shinjis breakdowns and rebuild's Love them tho

There is an episode of secret service that ends with Father Unwin waking up from a nightmare and then inviting Matthew to go for a walk round Hampstead Heath with him ....! (Well it was the late 60s I guess) maybe it didn't have today's reputation back then ... Theres also a Bristol Britannia in one episode ...

Good points .I chose the zero due to their recent kits being subjects Joe Public knows well even if they are well chosen variants to please we fanatics ...not sure there's a Zero variant that needs to be done as Tamiya did the Hamp. But generally I think their business model is Joe public recognition (with bigger sales ) with variant's to please us as well.

The problem is ...do we know if the official length is a ground line length (plumb bobs dropped and measured to include the nose high tail down stance of the aircraft on its undercart ) or a centreline length (fuselage completely horizontal as if in flight ) most data doesn't state which measuring method was used and the "length" would differ between the two methods ... it's a minefield trying to determine what's right and what's wrong . I always try to compare to photos to see if the proportional ratios are right . Sword may have done this with the tailplane height to fuselage length ratio and either got it right or completely wrong .!

Yep it's a stunner ....and Soooo much better than the Apollo crawler used in the new film (tho I did like the harkonnen harvesters seen briefly at the start ... ( was quite dissapointed that it looks like the filmed at a nasa crawler by the looks of things
