  2. Awesomely Beautiful build! Great photo shots too. Eric
  3. Matt, I was just @ Lil's Hobby Shop here in Manila, Philippines this afternoon and saw the Hobbyboss Tornado being placed on the shelf for the first time. I asked the salesperson if I could take a peek inside the box and saw the sprues randomely. All I can say is that its pretty much a nice kit from where I was but even without the shipping and handling the kit cost around USD43.00. I will try to go back and take pictures of the sprues when I have the chance. BTW they also have the Trumpy J-10. Eric P.S. No such luck going back to Lil's. Wife is keeping a keen eye and keeps tab whenever I leave the garage.
  4. Honza the Royal Saudi Air Force camo will be a knock out with this one! Eric
  5. Thanks. The black one's decal were from Syhart Decals. Though I only used the decals as template, most of the artwork I meticulously painted including the artwork underneath. Eric Thanks. Glad you like it Julien. Eric
  6. Hi guys! Just finished this one. You can see the WIP here .linky It'll be nice next to my other F-4F, Thanks all, Eric
  7. Believe me it took me alot of patience and some steady hands to do it. Eric
  8. The white paint is decanted from Fusion Satin White Spray can. The rest were gunze acrylic paints. Gloss was a bath from Future with tamiya thinner shot at low psi. Eric
  9. Thank you all for the nice comments! Eric
  10. Here's more. I eyeballed the orange color from pictures and references and mixed my own orange using GSI acryllics. Started wiith orange and adding red or yellow depending on how the tinting looks compare to references. Still some more fine tuning with small things to be done. Please stay tuned  Eric Latest pics in progress. After painting on all the major colors, gave it a bath of Future and let it dry. This time with decals on. First with Underside shot. A note to Bob of Twobobs, the 3 round small blue decal (badge) is suppose to have a white background. I discovered too late that it doesnt have the white background right after I placed it in. Oh well. Topside shots: Thanks all! Eric
  11. Hi All, This is my 1/48 Hasegawa F-4F Phantom in Orange paint. Decals from Twobobs (thanks to Awan). Other aftermarket parts included are aires cockpit (bought 2nd hand) without PE etch dials and seatbelts, also some fiddly bits of resin missing probably broken and never found. Burner cans were from a company I forgot. Resin intakes were from TD. Next time i'll just get the compressor blades and fit it to the kit's intakes. Here goes. Those tail's upper strengthening triangular plates were sanded and made new ones from plastic sheet for the bottom ones. Also erased the raised lines and scribed anew. Since the cockpit came with missing PE intruments dials face I had to cut and crafted the kit's intrument dials to the resin. Also made some cuts to bits of plastic to replace the chipped off parts. After that I primed the whole cockpit and intakes to see how it looks. More to come. Thanks for looking Eric Some more pics of progress. After doing the cockpit and the intakes, priming and checking I began shooting the model with satin white decanted from Fusion Plastic can. and began spraying the yellow, red and black stripes. Burner cans and exhaust areas were painted with different shades of Alclad II. Eric
  12. It is unique to Luftwaffe since I think they are the only ones practicing this when the rhino is on the ground. Ailerons up flaps down. Eric
  13. That is some of the nicest build i've seen. Eric
  14. Colin, Besides Syhart Decals, would you know where I could get decals for the famous Black & White scheme Swiss mirages? Or 3-view 1/48 drawing of its art so maybe I can patiently paint the artwork? Let me know. Thanks again for the partial decal and CD. Eric
  15. Colin, CD just arrived in the mail. So much wealth of information. Thank you! Eric
