  1. Hi there Well I also had one kit and paint set preorder on Hannants dispached on June 10, sadly I just got it from the local Mail office they marked the box 25-8-2022 a bit around 75 days a record from them My only coment is regarding the ejection seat, as it look as old very old seat found on a nameless kit from the 80s. They look so similar It have to be replaced On my confusion its a surprized that MiG-29 (9-13) don't use the ventral fuel tank as its included And yes comparing with the italeri its very similar. And yes both the Zvesda and Trumpeter look real nicer than the ICM, the ICM still a reall nice kit Still needto compare only the decals with those from Mistercraft At least all came right as always superb packing almost fool (mailman) proof Regards Armando
  2. On Helion & Company book there is a caption of a MiG-23 Iraqi AF with AM-39 Exocet ASM
  3. Hi there Well I been looking at Eduard MiG-21 Fighter Bomber Weekend Edition in 1/72 scale a bit carefully, also checking against the 4+ Publication book of MiG-21 (late versions) and MiG-23 interceptor / Fighter Bomber and other that not all of the weapons included are signaled on Eduard instruction booklet to be use (and that made me think Extrange as its the Fighter Bomber version ( I supoussed to include all the variations of the ordenance) https://www.eduard.com/eduard/plastic-kits/weekend-edition/aircraft/1-72/mig-21mf-fighter-bomber-1-72-1.html https://www.scalemates.com/kits/kovozavody-prost-jov-kpm0069-mikojan-gurjevi-mig-23ml--992705 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/kovozavody-prost-jov-kpm0096-mig-23bn-international--1135765 Now its pretty good selection and I mentioned before also the MiG-23 as the RV and KP don't include any weapons ordenance so I was guessing to maximum this kit (Btw I already have order a second kit from Hannants and its on transit (sadly it already took a very long route as even if package its already on my local postal office the shipping was dspacched for mail on July8, anyway I hope to grab the package this week or so Returning to the Eduard MiG-21MF kit also include a couple or JATO rockets..... So I wonder to ask if I can use them on a Il-28 Beagle or a Yakolev Yak-28??? There is also a rack 4 small/medium size bomb rack so I wonder to ask if I can use on a MiG-23BN for example an Iraqi AF sample??? and as thre be 2 kits then a single MiG23BN model with 2 bomb racks Atoll IR AIM missiles of 2 types and thats a surprise i'll be using this book as guide https://www.helion.co.uk/military-history-books/mig-23-flogger-in-the-middle-east-mikoyan-i-gurevich-mig-23-in-service-in-algeria-egypt-iraq-libya-and-syria-1973-until-today.php Regards Armando PS sadly I don't ever understand how to post photos here on Britmodeller There are included some selection of rocket pods 2 small size and only one big one
  4. Thanks a lot Mike That's exactly my assumption as large as the ground crew shoes As always observation is the key Regards Armando PS Anyway I still be waiting to get some 1/72 scale containers maybe in 3D
  5. Hi Mike Following the conversation do you have some dimentions or I'll be using a Wild Wide Guess for the Tie Dows? Regards Armando
  6. Hi there AntPhillip My intention was only to take your attention to Flightpath, if my memory doesn't fail me they're the only ones that can be able to have a set for Royal Navy otherwise if not my course of action would be take the drawing bootneck and do a master and then cast some copies (around 30-50) on acrilic dentist resin (they're pretty small anyway at least in wonderful 1/72 scale) Anyway I always also wanted to do the SS Atlantic Conveyor flight plank (I don't know how it was called) Regards Armando
  7. Hi there Well I think you are looking for Royal Navy tie downs as I understand (only for wonderful 1/72 scale) flightpath made an especific set https://www.scalemates.com/kits/flightpath-fp-72-116-us-navy-carrier-deck-diorama-set--357754 Maybe you can look for it Regards Armando
  8. Hi there Well I mostly go around aircraft part of Britmodeller forums but this one is really interesting for you https://aztecmodels.com/collections/kits/products/r-016-emc-naval-contact-mine Regards Armando
  9. Hi there Now I can see something missing from the old Italeri kit other than you must trash all the ordenance on that kit it lack of a simple but noticeable part as is the F-5F tail ballast Regards Armando
  10. Sorry to coment until now but there is a couple big french bombs on the Special Hobby Super Mystere Saar in 1/72 scale also some smaller but no indication on what type on the instructions By the way I'm also waiting for those Mirage 5/50 Daggers from Special Hobby in wonderful 1/72 scale Regards Armando
  11. Hi there ForestFan Very nice looking Special Hobby Super Mystere/Sa’ar I wonder if we can agree some sort of deal as I have a bunch of old Airfix kits and those always stoped as their lack of ordenance so I'm interested on your leftovers from this build Regards Armando
  12. Hi there Well the question of today is related to the USAF Doouglas A-1E/H in Vietnam How it come an old USN type in process to be replaced (by A-7 Corsair and A-6 Intruders) then got used for the USAF in Sandy or Pilot Rescue missions I been looking for that uncesfully Regards Armando
  13. Hi there I can part a decal set coming from Esci kit in wonderful 1/72 scale (I got 3 o 4 samples of same kit) https://www.scalemates.com/kits/esci-ertl-9090-a-4g--135707 Maybe you have around another decal set like Indonesian, Malasian Singapur or New Zealand decals to trade Regards Armando
  14. Hi there all all the overall shapes remained the same, the engines as well... maybe comparable to F-16 vs Japanese F2... That explain me a lot!!!! Advice taken better wait for an injected model or forget the subject My own WWG (wild wide guess) is that Zvesda will be selling less models outside Russian in the near future (as for a model not sellected or adquired by Russia AF maybe never will be made as plastic injected kit) Regards Armando
  15. Hi Mark Well following the flow there are more than one conversations regarding the RAF Phantoms in Falklands War like this ones And of course you also can look here for the decals https://aztecmodels.com/ https://aztecmodels.com/collections/decals/products/d-063-war-for-the-falklands-malvinas-2 (by the way there is more than one option for RAF Phantoms in Ascencion Island) Regards Armando
  16. Hi there Well my general guess is to get a Italeri 72 MiG-29UB Fulcrum and add a normal MiG-29 Fulcrum A/C nose and to put a box shaped in the backside I wonder if there is more visible changesor modd apps https://www.google.com/search?q=egyptian+air+force+mig-35&rlz=1C1ALOY_esSV954SV954&oq=Egypt+Air+Force+MiG-&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j0i22i30l3j0i390l2.10846j1j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Regards Armando PS I need suggestions of practical simple scratch / kitbashing type not go buy Great Wide Weels model
  17. 1000 Thanks Jerry That's what I was thinking? if I don't keep the bomb assembly then its going to look a weird empty
  18. /Hi there Well I been having on the stash some Hasegawa Heinkel He-111 and recently a Junkers Ju88A in wonderfull 1/72 scale (I normally do post WWII jet aircraft mostly single seaters of fighters adn figther-bombers) So after seeing some Youtube build ups I have some existencialist questions regarding If I use external racks for Heinkel He111 do I steel need to put the interior bombs assembly (for the 250 pounds bombs) or leave them out? the interior color of the main wheel bays on both bombers is that different from the interior color or the same as the exterior color? The interior of the glass frames suposed to be same color of the interior so thats RML66 Regarding both kinds of bombers as the models don't include bulkheads for the tail wheel interior Regards Armando
  19. I just order the ICM Model and the paint set from Hannants today
  20. Hi there Look here https://aztecmodels.com/ New decals for Ukraine vs Russia Air War Regards Armando
  21. Hi thete Well I ws looking at my stash his kit https://www.scalemates.com/kits/hasegawa-k6-lockheed-p2v-7-neptune--165138 And still wonder what colours use in its interiors So wonder for advice Regards Armando
  22. But if you interested only on the decals at Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/313985979360?hash=item491b05d3e0:g:IrIAAOSwWAJiYoGR Already have this kit and its more like same ICM or Eastern Express Regards Armando
  23. Hi there Well now that someone mentioned the F-4G Phantom I just remember about the Testors /Italeri kit yes still most of the parts coming same Esci mould https://www.scalemates.com/kits/testors-italeri-687-f-4e-g-phantom-ii--574634 This kit include not only the gun nose F-4E but also the Wild Weasel parts (plus some interesting ordenance) To me its specially atractive that the decals include the option for the 57th Fighter Interceptor Squadron deployed in Iceland Regards Armando
  24. Also anyway you can only use the Esci AIM-7 Sparrow for the AIM-9 Sidewinder needs to be reeplaced (no mayor trouble as Hasegawa kits also don't include weapons of any kind
  25. Also that same kit is the only source of a Phantom mid wing pylon AIM-4 double launchers Regards Armando
