Gondola gun bay scratch build incorporating exist shoot for nose guns and Gondola guns and 2 canon's. Flair ports added. Break lines added. Rivets added to major panel lines. Airbrushed with Mr Hobby Aqueous. Standard factory camouflage with field applied wellenmuster. Good luck everyone.

Almost done a few teaser shots before a final look over.

Guys if I may, my warning is to watch out with the engine nacelles and the undercarriage. The nacelles should only be part assembled as a sub and finish gluing when it's on the wing. Also there is no clearance with covers over the undercarriage legs. You will need to trim first. If you get stuck just shout out.

I feel your pain with pe! The benefit improvement over the effort. Carry on.

Wings and engine firewall completed. The firewall didn't sit aligned with the wing leading edge so there's still a little work to do.

Thanks Lanmi. Here's a tip you can use a watercolour pencil to draw the pattern if you don't want to airbrush or indeed use both to perfect the finish. All the best.

Hi Peter if you don't mind me suggesting. Why don't you give the ac a light dusting of rlm76 or buff with your airbrush. Not to close mind you and this will blend in the camo for more realism. You can use an 80/20 mix and you can't go wrong.

Hi Steve This plane was a test vehicle to determine whether the SN-2 would be less sensitive to 'Window' jamming, more effective in detecting high-flying bombers, and more efficient in detecting Mosquitoes approaching from behind and below. On its maiden flight there was an electrical failure rendering the radar ineffective. There was no further attempt at duplicating this setup. There is a debate as to whether or not this plane was shot down. I an trying to find a photo of it crashed, I recall seeing it a while back... still looking!

I will give this subject a go, been wanting to to do this for a while now. This boxing is very hard to source so I'll useHasegawa's G6 kit and after market antenna.

Guns and antenna masts finally on, bases need filling as the join to the nose isn't quite flush. Fidly work to do along with a paint touch up.

Pete this jig is definitely the wrong one it looks like it's made for fug220 sn2. After looking online and not finding anything to help I went ahead and did it without the jig. Always lots if fun !

Hi guys I need your help with the Fug202. The jig supplied doesn't look to be made for the 202. The instructions are also not clear on how to attach the mast to the antenna. Can anyone help or point me to someone who has used this kit from AML. thanks Walter

Thanks Richard yes it probably is. The kit is for an A4.

Painting all finished with standard scheme and rlm76 wellenmuster over the top. Decals applied and a final matt coat over the top. Still deciding if it needs more weathering. I'll be working on finishing the canopy as the 2 piece part is not sitting flush.
