Looks interesting John. I had the pleasure of seeing one of these (the only one in India) and I was stunned. Mind if I tag along -

Thanks @Gorby. I couldn't agree more about grubby tanks. The only place for a clean tank is a parade (because it wouldn't reflect very well, if you were dropping mud on a state occasion) -

Thank you @Ernst. The track sag trick is one our workmen use when setting up vintage tanks for static display as often the tracks are very tight. -
Feeling a bit bored in lockdown, I decide to weather some of my older models. The WIP can be found here: I would like to thank everyone who gave advice, that made the once abhorred task of weathering rather pleasant. The photos follow: The T-62 A The T 34/76 The StuG IV

@robw_uk and @Foxbat welcome. I plan to do the Horch first, then the 222 -
Feeling a bit bored, I ordered these 2 online. Due to me being in an Orange Zone, these were delivered fairly quickly. The Sd.Kfz was cheap and included PE mesh and an aluminium barrel for the 2cm KwK, a nice deal and I felt it would go nicely with the Horch as a desert pair. For the weathering etc, I will be taking special inspiration from John Masters' 222 (I wonder how he gets anything done in that scale... His eyes are going for sure, while his sanity has already thrown up its hands at the sizes of models it has to work with.) The 2 boxes: The box shots: 1st is Horch & 2nd is 222 The light grey sprue is extra drums and Jerry cans. Sprue shots: Horch: 222 Please tell me what you think.

Great pair John. I plan to do Tamiya's 1/35 222 and this will be used for inspiration.

We've been told the weathering date, but I don't suppose you would mind telling us the date for firing (possibly onto the houses of annoying neighbors)? Looks amazing. Great work.

Ok, so In weathering the body, I noticed that i had to paint the crosses. So i dredged up my semi existent fine painting skills and tried. I know the cross looks like it had one too many last night , but with weathering on it, the effect should be less. Criticism and advice is welcome. Stay in and stay safe

Great camo scheme. I wonder if we will be able to spot it after the 3rd coat.
