  1. Just remember that this GB is four months long... so we have a month longer than we've previously had for standard GBs.
  2. I'm not convinced it would be eligible, I'm afraid. Although the aircraft was used in a training role, training wasn't its primary role.
  3. I've warned you about this before, Rob. You're not supposed to download pictures of the real thing from the internet and pass them off as your own work...
  4. As part of my intention to step outside my comfort zone, I'd like to join in please. Many, many years ago I built a Tamiya 1:12 scale JPS Lotus 79. I'd like to build that again, but I've just seen that it is now retailing in excess of a hundred quid! I'll find something else...
  5. They way I see it, if you have previously used some decals from that AM sheet, then the remainder are effectively in the spares box...
  6. Is it possible to glue something in through the wing attachment area which will provide a backing for the filler? A strip of plastic from any old source should do. Glue it in with epoxy resin and tamp it down with the handle of a paintbrush poked in from the front. Okay... it's a little bit like keyhole surgery, but if it works there's always a new career opportunity...
  7. It's the "Less Than A Tenner" GB, which seems to be the natural successor to this one.
  8. Was it an android attack sheep from the future?
  9. I'll be building a Cromwell tank - specifically Little Audrey of B Squadron, 1st Royal Tank Regiment. http://www.desertrats.org.uk/assoc/Memorial_with_new_plaque.jpg I'd like to depict it on arrival to Felixstowe docks on 4 June 1944, so I will be building it sat on a Scammell tank transporter. I've no idea if Little Audrey was actually delivered on a Scammell, but I'm gonna go for it anyway...
  10. So far, we have three models entered which represent the aircraft in which the builders learned to fly!
  11. I've just placed my order for the kits for this GB. This is taking me totally out of my comfort zone! Scary!
  12. Nicely done! This is one of my favouritest kits. I would tell you that you are going to have a whale of a time building this one, but it looks like you've already found that out.
  13. Would it help if you put your woolly jumper on back to front...?
  14. This is going to be totally outrageous!!! I mean, how do we classify it? It is a plane? Is it a car?
  15. This one is going to be good! The aircraft itself is very retro indeed - but so is the kit!
  16. In my opinion, that's the best scheme for the Gnat. It's a little bit retro.
  17. Yes indeed! I'm pleased we have an Alpha Jet in the mix.
  18. Interesting point. Many sports aircraft are also used to train novice pilots. Although they would not normally be considered trainers, if it is an aircraft in which you have learned to fly, then there's no way it can be anything but in.
