  1. You're a lucky man to have this to do with your daughter. Mine is 22 and married now but we used to watch rugby together all the time. Now not so much but we still share a love for the game. It looks like you and your daughter have a whale of a time together... long may it last. 🙂
  2. Thanks for the welcome gents. I'm looking forward to finding my way around here.
  3. My name is Shane and I've been lurking here for a while just amazed at the skill and dedication to detail you guys show in your modelling. Due to an accident I had quite a few years ago I have tremors in both hands and weakness in my left arm. This means I'll never have the ability to produce the detail that most of you can create. However it doesn't stop me from trying. Modelling is an awesome hobby, an outlet for creativity and for me a physical exercise in which I get to have a hell of a lot of fun while flipping the middle finger at my limitations and my injuries. Most of all, I find it's the most fun you can have with your pants on. As an ex soldier I'm fairly keen on land based war machines, mainly in 1/35 scale although I also have in my stash, a few helicopters (also in 1/35 scale) a couple of fighter jets in 1/32 scale and an aircraft carrier in 1/350 scale. I'm currently working on a Hobby Boss Land Rover WMIK that I'm going to customise a little. I may come out of lurker mode once in a while to ask advice on a build or Oooh and Aaah over one of the incredible builds on this forum. Many thanks for having me... it's a pleasure and a privilege.
