Insane amount of detail and knowing how small these are you’ve done an incredible job. 👍

Nice build, I’ve also got one on the go amongst numerous other bikes. I’ve converted mine though to be a gsx-r powered special.

That stuff is epic, and they’ve got the drilled interior handles etc which I fitted to my real one. Looks like I’ll be spending more dosh.

Not built a car for a long long time. I was buying more bike kits from hlj.com when this little beauty popped up. I’ve an eclectic car history and this started it. Prior to me buying this I’d only ever had company cars and my bikes.
I bought this new when I totally changed career, dropping a company Mercedes and taking a 50% pay cut and ended with S935KBL.ill do it as my old car so flame red, Union Jack roof etc
im quite excited about this, I’ve sat on finishing both a tamiya and fujimi mini.
This unfortunately has very little detail eg engine missing but I think she will be a nice shelf queen.

I didn’t know about this kit until I finished the Vincent Black Shadow last year. There is a paucity of classic British bikes and in 1/12 scale there are basic these and the Airfix kit which goes for almost as much as this kit - I'll wait for a Vintage Classic's release.
This is not a cheap kit but this had a starting price of 1/3 less than any other I’d seen and I was the only bidder.
It’s a pretty insane, full multi media, spoke your own wheels kind of kit.
just sold one for £80, bet it has a bent frame?

Thanks for sharing the info about HB airfield. I’m just down the road and I have access to the control tower etc. I’ve a great book on the history of around here Leicestershire Northamptonshire airfields etc. I’ll get around to doing more on my 48th welly.

Japanese colour schemes and they come with rz not Rd. I bought some from buyee that have been delivered not a cheap way of doing it though with handling and delivery costs they work out at about £15 per sheet.

Fabulous looking build and especially as it’s only your 2nd. My maxim on building is it’s my build my kit and if I enjoy it that’s all that matters. I stopped building kits 25 yrs ago as I got lost down the rabbit hole of super detailing stuff and the enjoyment went. Now I build to please myself. Those that wish to build a totally accurate representation fair play to them. Primarily this is a hobby that I enjoy and if others don’t like my work or build they can happily keep it to themselves.
well done and let’s see more like it. 👍

On the buyee link you posted if you search the seller he does do a set with the Rd decal as well as rz. I’m ordering some of the decals as I have 3 tamiya kits and 5 hasegawa kits still to do. He also
does expansion chambers and there is also a seller on eBay that does the same

I have looked at getting these made, unfortunately without success as they work
out far to expensive. Cartograf printed tamiyas re run decals which includes Rd, could be worth an email? I also enquired with blue stuff decals. Alternatively buy a tamiya kit for the decals this is probably prohibitively expensive as well.

Got one of these as well I’ve heard they aren’t easy to build? I’d like to try to build the mad max goose mfp bike and use this as a base.
lovely looking build well done. 👍

Got quite a few of your kits in my stash including the sf750 not the sfc, it’s a rare beast and looks beautiful. 👍

I was slightly too young to see them race. I did own a cb1100rc in the early 2000’s and sold it far too cheaply.

Thanks very much all.

Thanks, I struggle not to do it. Which sometimes sucks.
