  1. This is a build i have been waiting for , have one almost built just the basic kit. The extra wiring , pipes and hoses are holding me up . Going to detail some parts, anything hidden will be missed out. Following this as your putting all the extra detail on.
  2. Thought i saw these yesterday, fantastic build . See you have gone for some late shells with the steel cases.
  3. Very nice . I am way behind you. Things to do,paint the turret internals, exterior and then put together the dreaded tracks . looking forward to see more photos. One Question I am wondering about using metal pins/wire instead of the plastic kit track pins.
  4. Trumpeter kit is missing lots of wiring , not that i plan to fit all the cables. Some of the 1/35 kits have wiring moulded in , was thinking should i buy a Panther kit with interior to have a better idea . Could spend days looking for interior pics then bookmarking them🙄
  5. Little problem , section 66 the parts H1&H2 . Did trumpeter put the guide slot wrong , and made a mess of the fitting picture . Imagine they are the greasing nipples for suspension.
  6. Hi Trying to work out an engine fit/removal for display. If you remove the locating circle in the engine bay bulkhead of the Panther you can fit and remove engine block. Has anyone used small magnets to tie in all the large ducts and pipework ? Might not bother with the small pipes as the air filter hits some pipes. Thanks ronnie
  7. Starfighter Taigen metal idlers are 2mm narrower. Why not buy the plastic henglong or taigen idlers and rework them.
  8. Starfighter Perhaps the trumpeter has the same idler as the Tamiya rc Panther , Kenny Kong metal tracks may fit. The rc tank tracks are not a standard fit across Tamiya, Henglong or Taigen Panthers
  9. Starfighter Thanks for the info , will see if Tamiya has a colour match if not will buy some Humbrol paints. AM thats a good idea was thinking about a plain perspex top and sides. If i am brave a cutout for the front panel on the deck.
  10. Hi Made a start on this kit , Trumpeter does not do us any favours regarding the interior colours . Ground to a halt at stage 7 lots of hull red . Need some info on the colours etc . Do the interior paint sets list a colour chart for the gearbox, turret power unit , drivers levers ,etc. Found lots of pics of torsion bars 3 colours and transmission also 3 colours. Books that are good for interior details and pics? Another option is buying the Takom or Ryefields kit for better info, but my eyes are starting to struggle on 1/35 extra fine detail. Thanks.
