  1. That shine ! This would make a great kit in 1/12. I'd happily miss the fox bodies, but it would be nice to have a line up of the good looking 1/12 Mustangs. And yes, I know doyusha did the Mach 1 in 1/12, but they's kinds spendy and hard to find.
  2. You're right, it would be tough to get tyres for a 1/16 version. Probably best to go for 1/12 then you can get Tyres from your local wheelbarrow supplier...
  3. I remember back in the 90's I had a copy of White Dwarf, and for a show, someone (possibly GW) had built a full EPIC Space marine and Orc army, but in full 28mm Scale. The Titans were huge
  4. I built a Space Marine 'EPIC' scale Titan once, so much to play with, and the freedom to do what I want because the universe provides for you to make up your own factions, so I made up 4 different factions of Space Marines, down to the type of world they are from and their specialist combat styles and terrains. I'm sad that the Epic scale is no longer catered to very much by GW, the figures weren't much on the detail, but the range of vehicles was enormous.
  5. You're not wrong, very unhealthy habit.
  6. I'd definitely recommend a hint of grey, automotive Whites are never pure, it's actually one of the worst colours to match after metallic golds
  7. I have designed and launched a range of workspace, tool storage and organisation products specifically for Model Makers, and would like to publicise/sell/announce and get feedback on these on Britmodeller, I can't seem to find any information about how to get an entry in the Shops, manufacturers & vendors section. I could post in the for sale section once I hit 100 posts, but I have quite a large range and I'd like to get people's feedback on individual products.
  8. Looks like to diorama got as much attention as the Falcon, amazing work.
  9. Quite opposite from making our lives easier, I think 3D printing may have made things tougher, because now we have the means to make pretty much anything without having to spend weeks hand sculpting models and taking casts, so we don't have an excuse not to. But as a consequence, we have to sacrifice hair to learning how to use the various 3D software that is nowhere near as good as the demo videos would have you believe, then so much more time prepping the finished results.
  10. A brief google search reveals there are a rather disturbing number of V8 powered 2CVs in existence in the real world. I'm trying not to think about it too much...
  11. Always love a Mossie. It baffles me why so many of the 1/72 kits don't have an opening bomb bay, so it's great to see one not only open but with a message chalked on the 'Present'
  12. Nice size for a Jeep, wish you could still get the civilian ones in 1/16 (Other than the overpriced ebay ones that is)
  13. Reminds me of a Dumper truck I resprayed once (The real thing). The Red chassis with a light grey cab looked great.
  14. I really must get around to getting a couple of Mechs, I'm not that into mechs as such, but they are a really cool subject to paint and detail, especially if you have the freedom to just paint what you want, not follow some kind of rulebook.
  15. Interesting how the 1/72 Large aircraft works well as a small aircraft for the Larger scale 28mm figures
  16. I wish the 250 was available in 1/12 at a reasonable price. I have the Revell 275, and it's reasonable enough that I can add plenty of detail and make it look good, but a 250 would have been the better choice I think.
  17. Where are you getting those custom decals printed, they look amazing.
  18. Awesome work, makes me want to go walk round it.
  19. The 1950's really did produce some amazing design concepts. There is very little today in any field as unusual as half of the designs that were built in that time.
  20. Great work, it really takes you there
  21. Just finding this one. I'm amazed that they go to the extent of including the Vending machine in the Box art and not the correct door count. I have a similar pile of conversions stacked up on Ford F-350's to replicate a Full crew cab, I'm lucky, I believe the front door is a match, but there is no rear door at all in the X-tra cab kit, so I have to stretch and create a new door entirely.
  22. Struggling to wrap my brain around the photography setting, These look like they are full size. Only the left of the photo gives any indication that they are small models on a table, the rest of the presentation is perfect perspective.
