Hi all, I am still working on this - plodding on with my figures, alas the dio scenery has not had any work done to it since my last work - I will be carrying on soon though. Erk.

Im still plodding on with it after a break - still have another 50 or so figures to add. Erk.

Morning all, I thought as a boost to my mojo I would treat myself to another addision to my build, I had seen that Victrix had released some new figures and upped their quality, so I got a single spru of the French - Polish Lancers, the quality of these has to be seen to be believed. I have enclosed a release pic of the Victrix figure (Victrix figure not mne) and the spru. Cant wait for it to arrive. Erk.

Have you seen the series on Hornby about how they study the real things before creating the new or re moulded kits. Erk.

I have been doing a bit of photo editing in lightroom and Topaz to bring more details out of the painting of the scene inside the farm and my outer wall. Erk.

Good day all, more progress this time working on my British Cavalry - I have added a brush coat of matt over them as a flat base for more detail paints to go on. Erk.

Hi all, more work contiues with my little project - I decided that my French Blue jackets are not dark enough, so I have been working through them by adding a drop of Blue to my Matt Black and painting the Blue areas - think they look better as they should be an almost Blue Black shade. Erk.

I wonder if anyone can help me - I have a bottle of the Mig Ammo Lucky Ultra Matt varnish that I have been using on my Waterloo figures, when I had my airbrush it spayed on lovely - nice and ultra flat, but now as my airbrush is gone I have been trying to brush this over my figures - I start off by shaking the bottle for atleast Two minutes then I poor out a small amount into my wet pallet and use my horse hair brush, I tend to brush over but make sure I do not let it pool, but I have noticed that its drying leaving a few shiny areas even after having Two brush applications spaced over Two days. Any tips please. Erk.

Hi all, well I decided I should get my act together and give my little figures some attention - I am flat coating my painted figures but as my airbrush is no longer with me - its brush time, this is not a problem just the one light brush over then put aside to dry till tomorrow when they will have a second coat. Its good to be back. Erk.

I asked because I am building a dio in the same scale, and its a very specific event and even time frame from the battle of Waterloo. Sometimes a dio takes a lot of research and reading up - part of the interest in the build. Erk.
