More work on my porch - Erk.

Just a brief update - without pics as my batt was flat, I have painted the inside and out several coats of White and and made and painted the base, next off will be some scribing of the gaps between the door planks and the roof tiles. Erk.

The roof is complete - just needs painting and weathering. Erk.

Carrying on with my landscaping mode on my dio, it occurredto me that the farmhouse is missing a porch on the back of the farmhouse leading out into the garden - so I am scratch building one from some wood stock - card and paper here is where I am now - Erk.

Hi all, more work on my scenery on my dio - I have used some of my water product and added it to a few of the wheel ruts in the roadway, I have also added a wall extension and done a bit of dry brushing on the rocks on the roadway. Erk.

A bit more progress - the LG figures steed needed changing from a Brown Bay into a Black - so just the single coat and its done, paint is still wet hence the patches but that will dry. Erk.

While I am still working on my Cavalry - I have added a Third in the shape of (The Blues) RHS. Erk.

The orchard grass area was made up with a few of those pre made scenery mats, they differed at first so I added different shades of scenery grass filing and soil to blend itt all into a messy muddy area. Erk.

I am quite pleased when you consider the size of them 28mm is just over an Inch tall. Erk.

Abit more progress - I have Two British Cavalry to add, a Kings Dragoon Guard and a Life Guard, I have started on both but this is my KDG, the pics are not ro good as I zoomed in two far and its made them a bit fuzzy. Erk

That looks So good - love the paintwork, I built the 3 ft T Rex skeleton kit - I posted the build log in here (I think) Erk.

Hi all, I have started to populate my dio again starting off with more French on the roadside and in the orchard - here are a few pics. Erk.

I am back after a mojo lapse - I have been re flat top coating my troops as I have been having issues with a shiny flat finish - think I got it sorted. Erk.

Morning all, I have found out a good tip - with my Acrylic Matt flat coat varnashing, my Mig Lucky Ultra Matt has beig playing up some what and not being "Utra Matt" so I decided to try an idea by heating the varnish up by sitting the bottle in a dish of hot water - then a thorough shake before uisng. It does seen to have helped possibly the heat makes the pigments mix better. Erk.
